Barangay Obo-ob Successfully conducted the (MR - SIA) Measles Rubella Supplemental immunization Activity today August 13, 2026.

The Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) vaccine, protects young children aged 6 to 59 months against measles (tigdas) and rubella (German measles), two highly contagious and potentially severe viral diseases.

Health Protection Benefits : Prevents severe complications like pneumonia, ear infections, brain swelling (encephalitis), and death.
Protects pregnant women and unborn babies from congenital rubella syndrome, which causes birth defects.
Closes immunity gaps and builds community-wide herd immunity.

Mga ginikanan, atong suportahan ang MR-SIA (Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity) aron mapanalipdan ang atong mga kabataan batok sa tigdas ug rubella. Luwas, epektibo, ug libre ang bakuna. Ang pagpabakuna dili lang proteksyon sa imong anak, kundi proteksyon usab sa tibuok komunidad.

Pabakunahi ang inyong mga anak sa takdang adlaw sa inyong Barangay Health Station. Magtinabangay ta para sa himsog ug protektadong Bantayan! 🩺💙
