Join the Kapatid Mentor Micro-Enterprises Program (KMME) Batch 7.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in partnership with the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship-Go Negosyo and Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry will launch another batch of Kapatid Mentor Me Program in Cebu.

The Kapatid Mentor Me (KMME) Program sets out to produce confident entrepreneurs with the right mindset & basic management skills which will enable them to sustain and scale up their enterprises. The program anchors on two major objectives, namely;

(1) Helping the micro and small enterprises develop a good business sense by capacitating them through the fundamentals of entrepreneurship; and,

(2) Assisting the MSMEs in scaling up and sustaining their operations by equipping them with the needed skill sets in the course of theoretical and conceptual discussions and lectures as well as mentoring and coaching sessions.

NO OVER-THE-COUNTER TELLER TRANSACTIONS IN CEBU

JUNE 19 IS A DAY FOR CLIENTS TO TRANSACT ONLINE BUSINESS REGISTRATION AT "BNRS.DTI.GOV.PH"

DTI-Cebu Holds “Over-The-Counter BN Teller Holiday” on June 19 to Promote Online Business Name Registration (BNRS Next Gen) at https://www.bnrs.dti.gov.ph/

To promote the zero-contact policy under Republic Act 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business Act 2018, and encourage the use of the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) end-to-end Business Name Registration facility, the DTI-Cebu Provincial Office / Cebu Negosyo Centers will hold a “BN Teller Holiday" on June 19, 2019 (Wednesday).

During a BN Teller Holiday, no Business Name (BN) Registration Teller shall process any BN application over-the-counter, and no payment shall be received through the DTI cashier.

Instead, on June 19, the DTI BN applicants are advised to register online through their respective mobile phones, laptops or PCs, at home or in an internet café, by accessing the Business Name Registration System (BNRS) Next Gen website: https://www.bnrs.dti.gov.ph/ and paying through GCash.

The public can file online their BN application (new or late renewal), pay via GCash, and download and print their own Certificate of Business Name Registration. A Business Registration Guide, Demo Video and Answers to FAQs are available on the website to further guide the public.

To assist the transacting public, the DTI-Cebu is inviting Bookkeepers, Business Registration Service Providers, and other Clients to a FREE SEMINAR ON HOW TO REGISTER YOUR BUSINESS ONLINE WITH THE DTI. The half-day, hands-on Seminar will also be held on June 19, 2019 with sessions from 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM at the DTI-Cebu Provincial Office, corner Osmeña Boulevard and Lapu-lapu Street, Cebu City. Participants are encouraged to bring their internet ready-mobile devices (eg smartphones, tablet, laptops) during this hands-on seminar.
