The Municipality of Baras, joins the nationwide observance of Animal Welfare Week 2026 on October 5–9, 2026, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 715.

Anchored on the theme, “Strengthening Information, Empowering Action: Advancing Animal Welfare Through Awareness and Enforcement,” the observance promotes responsible pet ownership, animal protection, and strengthened enforcement of animal welfare laws.
