The 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗡𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶: 𝗔𝗕𝗧𝗜𝗞 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀, in partnership with the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗢) – 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶 and the 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶, will conduct 𝗔𝗕𝗧𝗜𝗞 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶: 𝗔 𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 —a civic education initiative designed to empower the youth through knowledge, critical thinking, and responsible participation in the democratic process.

Through 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, the campaign aims to help young people better understand their rights and responsibilities as voters, appreciate the value of ethical leadership, and develop the critical thinking necessary to make informed electoral decisions.

More than simply learning 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲, this initiative seeks to inspire the youth to understand 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 and how responsible electoral participation can contribute to good governance and a better community.

𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐍𝐒

𝗔𝗕𝗧𝗜𝗞 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶 envisions a generation of 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 —youth who can distinguish truth from misinformation, evaluate leaders beyond popularity, and participate meaningfully in the democratic process.

This milestone marks another step forward in strengthening youth-led organizations in Barili and creating more avenues for young people to participate, collaborate, and contribute to meaningful community development.

The 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗬𝗢𝗥𝗣) is an initiative of the National Youth Commission that provides a centralized registration system for youth and youth-serving organizations across the Philippines. Through YORP registration, organizations are formally recognized and given greater opportunities to participate in youth development programs, initiatives, and activities led by the NYC and its partners.

Beyond registration, this achievement represents the growing commitment of Barili’s youth to organize, serve, and take an active role in shaping their communities. May this recognition open more doors for collaboration, capacity-building, and meaningful opportunities for our young people.
