The SK Federation together with the Local Government Unit of Barili, sincerely thank all donors, contributors, and partners who extended aid, goods, and services for the victims of the recent 6.9 magnitude earthquake in Cebu. Your generosity has made this relief initiative possible and continues to bring hope to affected communities. Rest assured, all donations are being promptly delivered to those in need.

The SK Federation - Barili in partnership with the Local Government Unit continues to welcome further contributions to sustain this cause.

❗️PLEASE SHARE❗️Due to the effects of Severe Tropical Storm Opong and the southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the Barili MDRRMO has advised class suspension to keep everyone safe. Gi awhag pud nato atong college students nga mag atang sa announcements gikan sa ilang school admin kay ang suspension sa tertiary level mag agad sa decision sa ilang Campus Director.

Also reminding everyone to stay at home in the meantime kung wala ju’y importante nga lakaw or unless emergency. Ampo ug amping ta guys. 🙏🏻

𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐢 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐏 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩

The Presidents from the Local Youth and Youth-Serving organizations together with the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons of the municipality convened for the 3-day formulation of the Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP) with the theme, “𝐌𝐮𝐠𝐧𝐚: 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟖” at the Mezzo Hotel, F. Cabahug cor Pres. Quezon St., Cebu City from September 20-22, 2025.

This collaborative effort aims to craft inclusive, responsive, and sustainable programs that reflect the needs and aspirations of the young people in our community.

Among the people who presented various inputs are the following:

1. Ma’am Pia E. Gonzales - Social Welfare and Livelihood Sector
2. Mr. Zean Jester Pantilgone- Updates on the Health Sector and other Youth Health Services
3. Ms. Cybel C. Tantay- National Youth Commission Updates
4. Atty. Dann Marr P. Andrino - Understanding The Local Youth Development and Its Functions
5. Mr. Marjun B. Taran - Information Priming and Identifying Priority PPAs
6. Dr. Michelle Ann Dagoy - Health Sector
7. Atty. Mildred Marie Presbitero- Good Governance and the Role of SKs

The event became even more meaningful with the presence of Mayor John-John Garcia, who shared his vision of a youth-centered leadership, powered by the thrust of a LIMPYO nga Barili.

The affair envisions to equip the next generation of young public servants through collaboration, planning, and purpose-driven leadership enabling better measures to support and empower the youths of the municipality.
