A Successful BAHA Congress Held at the IEC Convention Center, Mabolo, Cebu City!

Bringing together 37 active BAHA volunteers from different barangays of Barili.

The congress provided an opportunity for our BAHA volunteers to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and commitment to promoting animal health and welfare in their respective communities. As frontliners in barangay-level animal health services, BAHA volunteers play an important role in assisting livestock and poultry raisers and supporting the delivery of animal health services.

We are also proud to recognize our BAHA volunteers for their exemplary dedication and outstanding service as grassroots partners in safeguarding animal health, promoting livestock and poultry development, strengthening disease prevention, and supporting food security in the Province of Cebu.

Seaweeds Cultivation and Harvesting 🌱

A successful seaweed harvest in Barangay Giloctog, Barili, Cebu ✨

After 45 days of cultivation, we successfully harvested 65 kilos of seaweeds, which will be used for replanting to sustain and expand our seaweed production.

This activity was made possible through the coordination of our Municipal Agriculturist, Mr. Rennel M. Tan, Fishery Technician, Ms. Marjorie Libradilla, together with the Giloctog Fisherfolk Association (GIFA) President, Mr. Hermis G. Tanilon and members.

The Municipal Agriculture Office of Barili proudly participated in the “Tabo sa Kapitolyo” Agri-Fishery Trade Fair, held as part of the celebration of the 457th Founding Anniversary at Capitol Site, Cebu City.

Special Thanks to our Head of Tourism, Barili Tourism Office Sir Carlo, for generously providing our uniforms and supporting us as we proudly represented our LGU at this event.
