📢 International Clean-Up Drive 2025
September 20, 2025

The Municipality of Barobo proudly joins the International Clean-Up Drive 2025 held at Bogac Spring, Barangay Poblacion, Barobo, Surigao del Sur with the theme “Clean Seas Against the Climate Crisis.”

In line with this, a Simultaneous Coastal Clean-Up was also conducted together with our neighboring communities Barangay Wakat, Barangay Rizal, Barangay Unidad, Barangay Dapdap, Barangay Kinayan and Barangay Sua. This collective effort highlights our commitment to protecting our seas and addressing the impacts of climate change through community action. 🌱🌊

We extend our gratitude to all partner agencies, barangays, and volunteers who took part in this activity. Truly, by working hand in hand, we can build a cleaner, greener, and safer future for generations to come. 🙌

The Local Government Unit of Barobo through MENRO successfully celebrated this year’s Municipal Arbor Day held at Tagabaka Falls, Tambis, Barobo, Surigao del Sur. This meaningful event highlights our strong commitment to environmental protection and sustainability by planting trees and restoring our natural resources. 💚🌎

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants and partner organizations who dedicated their time and effort to make this activity a success:

In celebration of 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 for the whole month of June and 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲 on June 5, with a theme of “Ending Global Plastic Pollution,” the DENR Caraga is inviting everyone to take one small eco-friendly action each day for 30 days.
Dubbed, “𝟑𝟎 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞,” it aims to spread an impactful and engaging environmental awareness campaign to mobilize communities regionwide to implement and advocate for climate change adaptation and mitigation solutions.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧:

Ang opisina sa Municipal Environment and Natural Resources nagpahimangno ug nag-awhag kaninyong tanan sa pagpanghinlo sa atong tagsa-tagsa nga nataran ug likayan ang paglabay og mga basura bisan asa nga dapit arun malikayan ang mga nagkadaiyang mga sakit nga makuha sa hugaw nga palibot.

Ato kanunayng pagahinumdoman nga ang pagpanghinlo, usa ka "katungdanan sa katilingban". Busa, kanunayon natu ang pagpanghinlo alang sa limpyo ug himsog nga lugsod.

Garbage not collected today, Saturday September 21, 2024, will be collected on Sunday December 22, 2024.

This adjustment was made to give our hardworking personnel to enjoy their Year End Assessment.

We humbly request to please bring back inside your waste and it will be collected tomorrow Sunday, December 22, 2024
