ISAT U President Joins Flag Ceremony at BNC

ISAT U Barotac Nuevo Campus welcomed University President Dr. Gabriel M. Salistre, Jr. during the regular Flag Raising Ceremony.

The occasion also featured the administration of the oath of office to the newly elected officers of the major student organizations and appointed Student Republic (SR) officers, marking a new chapter of leadership and service.

May these student leaders uphold integrity, responsibility, and commitment as they take on their roles in serving the ISAT U BNC community.

A new chapter of service, leadership, and nation-building begins!

The Iloilo Science and Technology University โ€“ Barotac Nuevo Campus warmly welcomed its first-year students through the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Orientation, giving them a better understanding of the three NSTP componentsโ€”ROTC, CWTS, and LTSโ€”and helping them choose the path that best suits their interests and passion for service.

The activity was attended by the Campus Administrator, NSTP Director, NSTP coordinator, instructors, and students, who came together to support the goals and values of the National Service Training Program. The presence of our NSTP Director, Dr. Bernie F. Piad, made the event even more meaningful as he shared his continued guidance and support for the NSTP community.

Adding inspiration to the event was our distinguished guest, 2LT JESSEL D DIVINAGRACIA PA And 2LT JULIUS R AMOROSO PA, graduates of Officer Candidate Course (OCC) "GUNDAWAY" Class 64-2026 and proud alumni of ISATU Army ROTC Unit, who shared their valuable insights on the significance of serving the community with dedication, integrity, and purpose.

As our students begin their NSTP journey, may they carry with them the values of commitment, teamwork, and patriotism. May this orientation inspire them to become future leaders who will make a positive difference in nation and beyond.

This remarkable achievement signifies the successful completion of military training and the safe return of our cadet officers from Camp Gen. Adriano D. Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo. We proudly commend the 16 First Class Cadet Officers who successfully completed the 14-day Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) on June 14, 2026. We also extend our recognition to the 37 Second Class Cadet Officers who demonstrated resilience, discipline, and commitment throughout the rigorous 28-day RSCT/ARAPT Training, which concluded on July 11, 2026.

Today, we proudly honor your graduation and recognize your preparedness to carry forward the mission and values of the ISAT U ROTC Unit. Armed with the knowledge, discipline, and leadership skills gained through rigorous training, may you continue to serve with honor, courage, and dedication.
