ONE STATION, ONE PURPOSE, ONE COMMITMENT. 🚒🔥

Behind every successful response is a team that takes time to listen, learn, and move forward together.

Today, personnel of Barotac Nuevo Fire Station and Talisay Fire Sub-Station, headed by SFO4 Romelo D Aguilar, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted its Station Conference—a meaningful gathering where concerns were heard, plans were strengthened, responsibilities were reaffirmed, and ideas were shared toward a common goal: better service for the community.

For in the fire service, progress is not built by one person alone. It is forged through unity, discipline, open communication, and the willingness to grow together. Every conversation becomes a lesson, every plan becomes a direction, and every commitment becomes another step toward a safer Barotac Nuevo.

With the guidance and leadership of OIC, BFP FCSUPT WILBERTO RICO NIEL A KWAN TIU, DSC; Regional Director, BFP Region 6 FCSUPT EDWIN P VARGAS, DSC; and Provincial Fire Marshal FSUPT MELANIE G HABAWEL, DSC, the station remains steadfast in strengthening its personnel and fulfilling its mandate with professionalism and dedication.

We gather not simply to discuss where we are, but to prepare ourselves for where duty calls us next. 🚒❤️

🔥 EMPOWERING STUDENTS THROUGH FIRE SAFETY AND PREPAREDNESS 🚒🎓

The Barotac Nuevo Fire Station, headed by SFO4 Romelo D Aguilar, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, participated as one of the resource speakers during the Campus Safety and Emergency Preparedness Training Program held at the Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST) – Main Campus, Poblacion Site.

Together with the University of Iloilo OJTs, Class SIKLAB-ALAB, the team conducted comprehensive Fire Safety and Prevention Lectures followed by a Fire Drill, providing students with practical knowledge on fire prevention, proper emergency response, safe evacuation, and the importance of remaining alert and prepared during fire emergencies.

More than a lecture, the activity served as a reminder that preparedness is a shared responsibility. Through education and actual drills, we help build a campus community that does not simply know what to do in an emergency—but is ready to act when every second counts. 🔥🧯

The Barotac Nuevo Fire Station remains committed to strengthening fire safety awareness and fostering a culture of preparedness among students and educational institutions.

This undertaking is carried out under the guidance and leadership of OIC, BFP FCSUPT WILBERTO RICO NIEL A KWAN TIU, DSC; Regional Director, BFP Region 6 FCSUPT EDWIN P VARGAS, DSC; Provincial Fire Marshal FSUPT MELANIE G HABAWEL; and Acting Municipal Fire Marshal SFO4 Romelo D Aguilar.

🔥 FROM LEARNING TO ACTION, FROM WILLING HANDS TO A COMMUNITY READY TO RESPOND. 🔥

Two days of learning, discipline, courage, and service have come to a meaningful close.

The Barotac Nuevo Fire Station, headed by SFO4 Romelo D Aguilar, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, successfully concluded the 2-Day Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) Training on Firefighting and Emergency Medical Response at Barangay Jalaud, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.

On this second and final day, the lessons of yesterday were transformed into action as the participants faced their Simulation Exercise (SIMEX)—putting their knowledge, skills, teamwork, and presence of mind to the test. What began as lessons and demonstrations became a glimpse of what preparedness truly means: ordinary people equipped and empowered to respond when extraordinary circumstances arise.

👏 Congratulations to all our CFAG participants!
May the knowledge and skills you gained during these two days remain not only in your minds, but also in your hearts and hands—ready to serve your families, your neighbors, and your community whenever the need arises.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the Barangay Officials of Jalaud, headed by Hon. Melodito B. Plana, Barangay Captain, for their invaluable support, cooperation, and commitment to strengthening community preparedness.

We likewise extend our sincere appreciation to Hon. Bryant Paul Q. Biron, Municipal Mayor of Barotac Nuevo, for his continued support for programs that promote public safety, disaster preparedness, and a more resilient Barotac Nuevo.

This meaningful undertaking is carried out under the guidance and leadership of FCSUPT WILBERTO RICO NIEL A KWAN TIU, DSC, OIC, BFP; FCSUPT EDWIN P VARGAS, DSC, Regional Director, BFP Region 6; and FSUPT MELANIE G HABAWEL, Provincial Fire Marshal, OPFM Iloilo.

The training may have ended, but the mission has only begun.
For every skill learned is a life that may someday be saved, every prepared hand is a hand that can help, and every empowered citizen makes the community stronger. ❤️‍🔥🚒

Congratulations, CFAG Barangay Jalaud!
May you carry the flame of preparedness—not as a fire that consumes, but as a light that guides, protects, and serves.

🔥 THE FIRST SPARK HAS BEEN LIT. 🔥

Every strong and resilient community begins with a single spark—the willingness to learn, prepare, and serve.

Today, Barangay Jalaud, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo witnessed the beginning of that journey as the Barotac Nuevo Fire Station, headed by SFO4 Romelo D Aguilar, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, successfully conducted the first day of the Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) Training.

More than acquiring skills, this training is about building courage in uncertainty, knowledge in times of danger, and helping hands when every second matters. Every lesson learned and every skill practiced today becomes another layer of protection for their families, neighbors, and the entire community.

But the journey does not end here.

Tomorrow, Day 2 will put learning into action. Through a Simulation Exercise (SIMEX), the participants will face scenarios designed to test what they have learned—because preparedness is not only about knowing what to do, but having the courage, discipline, and presence of mind to do it when it matters most.

Today, they learned. Tomorrow, they respond. 🚒🔥

This undertaking is carried out under the guidance and leadership of FCSUPT WILBERTO RICO NIEL A KWAN TIU, DSC, OIC, BFP; FCSUPT EDWIN P VARGAS, DSC, Regional Director, BFP Region 6; and FSUPT MELANIE G HABAWEL, Provincial Fire Marshal, OPFM Iloilo.
