The Sangguniang Kabataan aof General Luna extend their deepest gratitude and highest commendation to the Psi Sigmaphians of General Luna, led by Barangay Kagawad Joseph Apirong, together with Mr. Joemark Monicode and Mr. Jhonrey Besaga, for the resounding success of the "Libre Gupit Bago Mag-Eskwela" initiative.

While this project was primarily organized to help our students prepare for the upcoming school opening, the overwhelming support and efficiency of our volunteers allowed us to extend the service to other residents of General Luna as well. In total, nearly 40 individuals were provided with clean, quality haircuts completely free of charge.

Your selfless dedication and active volunteerism have made a tangible impact, easing the financial burden on many families and ensuring our youth feel confident as they step into a new school year.

We are incredibly fortunate to have organizations and leaders who consistently put community welfare at the forefront. Thank you for your unwavering service and partnership.

To our hardworking college seniors of Barangay General Luna, the finish line is finally in sight! Your Sangguniang Kabataan family is incredibly proud of your perseverance, dedication, and sacrifices to achieve your dreams.

As you prepare to step into the next chapter of your lives, the SK Council is happy to announce the return of our educational assistance program to help ease some of your graduation expenses.

If you are a graduating college student this academic year, please take note of the following guidelines to qualify:

📋 PROGRAM GUIDELINES
Eligibility: Must be a bonafide resident of Barangay General Luna and a graduating college student from any public or private school/university.

Name Confirmation: Please contact or approach the assigned SK Kagawad in your respective Purok to have your name listed and confirmed.

Proof Needed for Confirmation: Kindly present or show your official pictorial graduation picture to your Purok's assigned Kagawad as proof of graduation.

📅 DEADLINE FOR CONFIRMATION: On or before May 31, 2026.

The 2026 Fiesta was more than just a series of events; it was a reflection of the heart and quiet dedication poured into the community. From the opening of the SK One-Day Volleyball League on April 16 to the final moments of the SK Basketball League, Pasidungog, and the Search for Bongga ka Nay, every milestone was reached through a shared sense of service. While the Barangay provided the necessary funding, the true essence of these celebrations was found in the invisible hands that worked tirelessly to bring every plan to fruition.

This journey was made possible by individuals who stepped up when it mattered most. Kagawad Micha Ella Casbadillo offered steady support during the long hours of preparation for Pasidungog and Bongga ka Nay, while Charice Balderas Torre lent her grace and expertise to the production, ensuring every candidate felt confident and every transition was seamless. The kind assistance of Richmae Aperong served as a vital reminder of what can be achieved when people simply show up for one another.

There is a special kind of gratitude reserved for the SK officials who moved quietly in the background. Though they often remain out of the frame of the photos and far from the spotlight, their presence was felt in every successful detail. Their labor was not for recognition, but for the community they serve. Every effort, no matter how small or unseen, was deeply felt and remains the foundation of everything that was accomplished. This celebration belonged to everyone who believed in the beauty of working together in silence and sincerity.
