CY 2026 Strengthening Institutional Capacities of Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (SICAP-BADAC) Training, Batch 2
This aims to equip BADACs with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to effectively perform their duties, particularly in the areas of information collection and reporting.
Batch 2 was participated by eighteen (18) barangays, to complete all 37 component barangays of the municipality, which is represented by their Punong Barangay, Sangguniang Barangay Member - Chairperson on Committee on Peace and Order and their Barangay Secretary.
This activity was spearheaded by the municipal LGU headed by the Dr. Aron C. Balais, FPCEM who was present during the activity, giving full support to the BADACs. Barugo, Leyte is a consistent High-Functional ADAC awardee, thus, this technical assistance to the BADACs was extended to sustain its high functional status and be able to comply with the anti-illegal drugs-related laws and directives. The MPDC who is at the same time the SGLG and ADAC Focal Person, Engr. Judith M. Borrel, likewise extended her support and assistance to the ongoing strengthening of the BADACs.
The discussions were given by MLGOO Ellen Shiraz B. Ibardolaza, personnel from PDEA, personnel from the Barugo Municipal Police Station headed by PMAJ Romeo Sudario, Jr., and the CBDRP Focal Person, Mr. Roderick Balais.
