48th National Disability Rights Week (NDRW) 2026 Culmination

🌸Celebrating Inclusions and Inclusitivity🌸

The Municipality of Basay through the Office of Municipal Social Welfare and Development join the nation in celebrating the 48th National Disability Rights Week (NDRW) under the proc. no. 547 s2024, with year's theme "Rights First, Legislation Forward - Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development".

The event highlighted the amazing skills through contest and showcasing of talents of persons with special needs🫶as well as engaging parlor games. As part of the activity, small tokens and prices were humbly distributed and given to all participants. This was the first National Disability Rights Week celebration in the municipality, made possible through the initiative and unwavering support of Mayor Jonny A. Wagas, MSWDO head ma'am Analyn D. Millan, PWD focals, and PWD Chapter President from the ten Barangays👏In line with Bagong Basay, 📢"Lahat ng sector, walang maiiwan. Lahat sama-sama, lahat mahalaga."
