📢 UPDATE | New San Agustin

As of today, New San Agustin—particularly Purok 3 and other low-lying areas—is experiencing flooding due to continuous and excessive rainfall affecting the region, as reported in recent PAGASA weather advisories and NDRRMC updates.

Through the continuous efforts of the Municipal Government, MDRRMC, and the Barangay New San Agustin Council, an emergency meeting was conducted. As a result, the Barangay DRRMC has activated actions to inform and advise residents in low-lying areas to evacuate to safer places as a precautionary measure.

🌧️ With rainfall expected to continue, especially tonight, residents are strongly urged to stay safe and vigilant, as water levels may still rise. Flooding may further intensify during high tide, increasing risks in affected areas.

⚠️ REMINDERS TO EVERYONE:
✅ Follow instructions from barangay officials
🧳 Prepare essential items (documents, medicines, clothes, flashlight)
👶 Prioritize children, elderly, and persons with disabilities
🔌 Switch off electrical appliances if water enters your home
🚫 Avoid walking or crossing fast-moving floodwaters
📱 Stay updated through official PAGASA, NDRRMC and Municipal DRRMC advisories

We'd like to extend our deepest appreciation to our Barangay New San Agustin officials for their continuous efforts in the fight against illegal drugs.

By distributing ICAD advocacy materials again for the Month of November, we are strengthening every family's awareness about the harmful effects of drugs.

The New San Agustin Council is proud to announce its participation in the 33rd National Children's Month Celebration. We stand in solidarity with this crucial initiative to combat Online Sexual Abuse & Exploitation of Children and Online Sexual Abuse & Exploitation Materials (OSAEC-CSAEM).

This year's theme, "WAKASAN: KALIGTASAN AT KARAPATAN NG BATA, IPAGLABAN!" (End It: Fight for the Safety and Rights of Children!), deeply resonates with our commitment to ensuring the best possible environment for our youth.
