As of 2:00 AM today, 1 September 2026, Tropical Depression “PILANDOK” (LPA 08j) is being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, of the two Tropical Depressions (TD) being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR, “SAUDEL” (formerly OBET) has re-intensified into a Tropical Storm, while the other (formerly LPA 08l) remains a TD.

Additionally, LPA 08m is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR and has a MEDIUM chance of developing into a TD within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

As of 8:00 AM today, 28 August 2026, a Low Pressure Area (LPA 08i) is being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has a "MEDIUM" chance of developing into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

WEATHER UPDATE| As of 2:00 AM today, 25 August 2026, Typhoon "SAUDEL" (formerly "OBET") is being monitored OUTSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm "ATSANI" is weakening into a Tropical Depression and remains OUTSIDE the PAR.

Tropical Depression "GAENARI" (formerly "NENENG") has weakened into a Low Pressure Area (LPA 08f) and is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR. It is UNLIKELY to redevelop into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

As of 2:00 PM today, 18 August 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 08f) developed into a Tropical Depression and was named NENENG and is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Another Low Pressure Area (LPA 08g) is being monitored outside the PAR and has a “HIGH” chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, another Tropical Depression is being monitored outside the PAR.
