These “walking fish” aren’t your ordinary swimmers. They:
✨ Skip across mud using their strong fins
✨ Breathe through their moist skin like amphibians
✨ Build burrows that protect their eggs in low-oxygen mud
✨ Play a key role in coastal ecosystems food chain
✨ Even put on acrobatic shows to attract mates!

Truly, mudskippers remind us that mangroves are full of life worth protecting. 💚🌊

Ang municipal waters ay tirahan ng isda at iba pang yamang-dagat. 🌱🐠

Dito nangingitlog at lumalaki ang mga isda. Kapag pinapasok dito ang ilegal na komersyal na sasakyang pangisda, maaaring maubos agad ang mga isda at maaaring masira ang mga tirahan at pangitlugan nila.

Kaya kung proprotektahan natin ang 15 kilometro, tuloy-tuloy ang kabuhayan, pagkain, at seguridad para sa lahat, komersyal man o munisipal na mangingisda.

Ang ay base sa RA 8550, RA 10654, at Local Government Code (RA 7160). Para makatulong sa atin ang batas na ito, kailangan nating kumilos at ipaglaban---dahil ang 15km ay para sa munisipal na mangingisda.

Being an environmentalist is political.

Every trail we walk, every river we cross, every mountain we climb reminds us that our wild spaces live and die by political decisions. One signature can protect forests—or open them to destruction. We cannot speak of the environment without speaking of governance. Conservation is not just about trees and wildlife—it is about justice, accountability, and the choices of those in power.

Today, tomorrow, and for as long as we exist, we stand with every Filipino demanding truth, accountability, and justice. Because the struggle for our environment is not separate from the struggle for our people. This involves all of us.

Kaya naman panawagan muli ng DENR National Capital Region para sa lahat:

Huwag maging balahura sa ‘yong basura!

Disiplina't malasakit para sa kapaligiran at komunidad.

Kasama ang LABO PROGRESSIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE (LPMPC) sa kanilang pagdiriwang ng International Year of Cooperatives humigit kumulang nasa 20 sako ng hindi nabubulok na basura ang nakuha sa mangcamagong beach. Maraming salamat po sa pakikiisa na mabawasan ang basura sa tabing dagat.

📌Ugaliing huwag iwanan ang inyong mga basura sa tabing dagat at ilagay sa tamang basurahan.

📌Maging maaalalahanin at mapag alaga sa kapaligiran.
