The MMSU Youth Network Producers Cooperative shares the successful Focus Group Discussion (FGD) held yesterday with 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐄𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬, 𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 at the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐬 𝐁𝐚ñ𝐨𝐬

As youth cooperators, our responsibility to our community goes hand in hand with protecting our environment.

In celebration of Cooperative Month 2026, the MMSU Youth Network Producers Cooperative (MMSU-YNPC), in collaboration with the Junior Cooperators Association – MMSU Chapter, will spearhead a Mangrove Planting Activity at Maglaoai, Currimao, Ilocos Norte.

This collective initiative reflects YNPC’s ongoing dedication to sustainable development, marine protection, and youth leadership in action—showing that true progress happens when youth-led organizations unite for a common cause.

The 𝐌𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝐌𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐘𝐍𝐏𝐂) successfully conducted its 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 (𝐏𝐌𝐄𝐒) on 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, as part of its continuing commitment to promoting a deeper understanding of cooperative principles, values, and practices among the youth.

With 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐕. 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐳 serving as the resource speaker, the seminar provided an enriching learning experience for 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬, equipping them with essential knowledge about cooperativism and guiding them toward meaningful participation as prospective members of the MMSU-YNPC.

The activity was organized and led by the Education and Training Committee in collaboration with the cooperative officers, ensuring the smooth delivery of the seminar and proper orientation of participants. It also provided an opportunity to clarify membership requirements, responsibilities, and the process of becoming a member of the MMSU-YNPC.

Through initiatives such as this, the MMSU-YNPC continues to strengthen cooperative education, foster youth participation, and cultivate a more informed, responsible, and empowered cooperative community.
