The City Government of Batac is conducting FREE profiling and registration of residents in preparation for the launch of the GCash CITYzen’s ID.

The GCash CITYzen’s ID is a digital identification system that will give residents easier access to City Government programs, services, and assistance. It will also be linked with GCash to ensure more convenient and secure delivery of benefits and financial aid.

The City Civil Registry Office joined the distribution of well-milled rice in Barangay Baoa East under the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) of the National Government in partnership with the City Government of Batac.

While waiting for the distribution, our office conducted an information dissemination on civil registration services and assisted clients with their civil registry records and related concerns.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY

Please be advised that Eureka Bridge along Eureka Avenue Brgy. Caunayan, will be temporarily closed on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM to give way to the clearing operations at Quiaoit River to be conducted by the City Government of Batac.

Affected Areas:
-Eureka Ave. (Caunayan)
- Dewey St. (Ablan)
- Taft St. (San Julian)

During the closure, Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) and other vehicles bound for Paoay are advised to proceed straight along Washington Street instead of turning right at Ricarte Outpost.

All motorists are encouraged to follow the designated traffic scheme, expect possible delays, and strictly comply with the directions of traffic personnel on site.

The Philippine Statistics Authority reports the top causes of death in the country for January to December 2025 (Provisional as of 31 May 2026).

Leading the list were:

🔬 Neoplasms
🧠 Cerebrovascular diseases
🌬️ Pneumonia
🩸 Diabetes mellitus

While these numbers reflect ongoing health challenges, they also remind us to take small steps toward better lifestyle choices, regular check-ups, and stronger support for community health.

A total of 301 families in Barangay Ablan received well-milled rice provided by the National Government (Local Government Support Fund) through the City Government of Batac. The distribution was facilitated by the staff of the City Civil Registry Office, ensuring that the assistance reached the intended beneficiaries.

While waiting for their turn, beneficiaries also participated in an information dissemination on the importance of birth registration and were informed about the availability of the BREQS (Batch Request Entry Query System) service at the City Civil Registry Office, making it easier for the public to request PSA-issued civil registry documents.

Through service and information, we remain committed to bringing government programs closer to the people and empowering our community through accessible civil registration services.
