π¨π£πππ§π | Fire Incident at Batac City Public Market
The City Government of Batac, through the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and our emergency response agencies, immediately responded to the fire incident that occurred at the Batac City Public Market. Response operations are ongoing to ensure the safety of the public, contain the incident, and provide the necessary assistance to those affected.
We acknowledge and express our sincere appreciation for the presence and leadership of our local officials led by Hon. Governor Cecilia Araneta Marcos, Hon. Vice Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc, Hon. City Mayor Markee Chua, Hon. City Vice Mayor Albert D. Chua, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, department heads, barangay officials, and other local and national government officials, whose immediate visit and coordination on-site demonstrate their unwavering commitment to the welfare of our constituents during this difficult time.
We also extend our gratitude to all responding agencies, volunteers, and partner organizations for their prompt action and dedication.
As we continue our response and assessment efforts, we humbly ask everyone to offer their prayers for the safety of all responders, the affected vendors and families, and for the swift recovery of our community.
