To prepare for the upcoming renovation of the Municipal Hall, the Municipal Treasurer's Office and DTI Negosyo Center Batan have moved to a temporary location at the Gender and Development Building, Kalantiaw Shrine Grounds.

📢 ATTENTION: Business Owners in Batan, Aklan!

The Sangguniang Bayan of Batan has approved Resolution No. 2025-14, extending the deadline for the renewal of business permits and licenses.

✅ New Deadline: February 17, 2025
✅ No Surcharges or Penalties: Payments for local taxes, fees, and charges under the Revised Revenue Code of 2020 are covered by this extension.

This decision was made to provide much-needed support to business owners amid ongoing economic challenges. Let’s take this opportunity to renew our permits without additional costs!

A CERTIFICATE OF COMMENDATION was given to LGU BATAN for having attained a collection efficiency rating of 112% exceeding the annual target set by the Bureau of Local Government Finance of Fiscal Year 2022 based on the Collection Efficiency in Four Locally Sourced Revenues (Real Property Tax, Business Tax & Other Taxes, Fees and Charges, Economic Enterprises).

According to the Revenue Code, the official renewal period is from January 1 to 20 of the current year. But please note that January 1 is a holiday, and January 20 falls on a Saturday.

MTO BATAN LANDED TOP SPOTS during the REGATA Year-end Conference at Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary, Murcia, Negros Occidental. The Bureau of Local Government Finance Region VI awarded the plaques and certificate last December 7, 2022

The succeeding awards were given to the Municipal Government of Batan through the efforts of Municipal Treasurer’s Office under the leadership of Mrs. Arnie Bolivar Luces among the One Hundred Seventeen (117) Municipalities in Region VI:
