Bilang pakikiisa sa kampanya laban sa child labor, nagsagawa ng solidarity photo activity ang mga opisyal at kawani ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng San Juan bilang bahagi ng paggunita sa World Day Against Child Labor ngayong buwan ng Hunyo.

Hawak ang mga pulang kard o red cards, ipinakita ng mga kalahok ang kanilang matibay na paninindigan laban sa child labor sa ilalim ng kampanyang . Bahagi ito ng temang “Ikaw, Ako, Tayo: Sama-samang Pagkilos para sa Batang Malaya,” na naglalayong palakasin ang kamalayan at pagkilos ng komunidad para sa kapakanan ng mga bata.

Ayon sa LGU San Juan, simbolo ang red card ng pagtutol sa anumang uri ng child labor at suporta sa pagsusulong ng mga karapatan ng kabataan. Kabilang dito ang karapatang makapag-aral, makapaglaro, at magkaroon ng ligtas at maayos na kinabukasan.

Patuloy ding hinihikayat ng pamahalaang bayan ang mga mamamayan, organisasyon, at iba pang sektor ng lipunan na makiisa sa mga programang naglalayong wakasan ang child labor at tiyaking mapoprotektahan ang kapakanan ng bawat bata.

Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagkilos, umaasa ang Pamahalaang Bayan ng San Juan na mas mapapalakas ang adbokasiya tungo sa isang lipunang malaya sa child labor at may pantay na oportunidad para sa lahat ng kabataan.
