Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 132, work in government offices and classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be suspended in the National Capital Region and the following provinces at 1:00 p.m. on August 28, 2026, in anticipation of the further enhancement of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) by the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) that entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR):

Please be advised that 𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗕𝗜 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 operations in the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗡𝗖𝗥) shall resume 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝟮𝟬 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

For NBI Clearance Centers located in provinces covered by Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 131, dated 19 August 2026, the concerned OIC/AIC/RD may implement appropriate alternative work arrangements, consistent with existing guidelines and taking into consideration the prevailing local weather conditions.
