The 4th Quarterly Municipal Development Council Meeting was held at 3rd Floor Conference Hall, Barangay Don Luis, San Jose, Batangas. It was participated by Barangay Chairperson/Representative, authorized NGO/CSO/PO representatives of the Local Government Unit.

-Presentation of the 3rd Quarter Desk and Field Monitoring Plan of the Local Project Monitoring Committee
-Presentation and Adoption of the LPMC Resolution Nos. 4-2023 (Desk and Field Monitoring Plan for the 4th Quarter of 2023) and 5-2023 (Work and Financial Plan for FY 2024)

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MEETING
• Acknowledgement of the newly elected and re-elected Barangay Captains of the Municipality
• Presentation of recognition from the Provincial Government of Batangas for attaining FULL COMPLIANCE of the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) 2023-2028.
• Hon. Timoteo H. Quizon and Hon. Rudy P. Carandang, Barangay Chairpersons of Lapolapo II and Bigain I respectively, were nominated to be part of the Local Project Monitoring Committee under the Executive body.
• The LPMC Resolution Nos. 4 and 5 were adopted thru MDC Resolution No. 10-2023, which will be forwarded to the Local Project Monitoring Committee for submission to the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) and Provincial Project Monitoring Committee (PPMC).
UPCOMING EVENT
• The Tourism Officer announced that the Paskuhang Bayan will be held on December 22, 2023 which will be participated by all 33 barangays and various CSOs. They were clustered into 10 groups with assigned festival to present and respective choreographers.
