🖤 THE VERDICT IS IN — BLACK TIE WINS! 🖤
After the votes are in, our theme for the event is officially BLACK TIE.
But what exactly does Black Tie mean? It’s more than just wearing something black — it’s a formal, elegant, and sophisticated dress code inspired by classic red-carpet and evening looks.
MISCONCEPTION:
Black Tie does NOT mean everyone has to wear a black outfit or an actual black necktie. It refers to the level of formality and elegance of your outfit.
WHAT TO WEAR
FOR GIRLS:
Floor-length gowns, elegant evening dresses, sophisticated midi dresses, or other formal dressy outfits. Heels or elegant flats, along with simple jewelry and a polished hairstyle, can complete the look.
FOR BOYS:
A tuxedo is the traditional Black Tie choice, but it is NOT required. We understand that not everyone may have access to or afford one.
A formal suit is a great alternative. If you don’t have one, a neat long-sleeved polo paired with formal trousers and dress shoes can still achieve the look. A tie or bow tie is recommended, but not required if unavailable.
The goal is to look clean, polished, formal, and elegant, not to spend a lot of money. Work with what you already have and make it your own.
Think elegant, polished, and red-carpet ready.
We can’t wait to see all of you dressed to the theme and, most especially, makita namo inyong ka-gwapa ug ka-gwapo!
Get ready to dress your best because BLACK TIE IS OFFICIALLY OUR THEME! 🥂
