𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆

𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗼, 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 - August 26, 2026 - In line with the continuous implementation of the Bureau of Fire Protection's operational readiness program, the Bato Fire Station duty personnel under the leadership of 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟮 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗥 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗼, 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭, conducted AOR Polishing, cleaning and maintenance of firefighting apparatus and personal protective equipment (PPE), and Driver Pump Operator (DPO)/Fire Truck Operator (FTO) operational readiness activity.

The AOR polishing was undertaken to promote a clean, orderly, and safe environment within the workplace while strengthening fire safety awareness in the community. Routine inspection, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of firefighting apparatus and PPE's were carried out to ensure that all equipment remains serviceable and ready for immediate deployment during emergencies. Likewise, Driver Pump Operator or Fire Truck Operator operational readiness activities were conducted to verify the preparedness of personnel and vehicles, ensuring prompt and efficient emergency response at all times.

Through regular inspections of firetrucks, the Bato Fire Station reinforces preventive maintenance practices, minimizes the risk of equipment failure, and guarantees the reliability of its firefighting apparatus during emergency operations.

𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗼, 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 - August 25, 2026 - Bato Fire Station personnel under the leadership of 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟮 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗥 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗼, 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭, successfully conducted a Refresher Course on Firefighting Operations. The training focused on three key areas: Proper handling of hose couplings and nozzles, nozzle attack, and ex*****on of different types of hose rolls.

This activity aimed to reinforce standard firefighting procedures, strengthen teamwork, and uphold safety protocols. It ensures that Bato Fire Station personnel remain competent and prepared to respond effectively to fire and other emergencies, while continuing to deliver efficient and quality public service to the community.

𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗼, 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 - August 24, 2026 - In line with strengthening inter-agency collaboration and fostering productive partnerships with local government units, newly assigned 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭 of Bato Fire Station, 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟮 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗥 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗼, made a courtesy visit to Hon. Bryan Nile A Gertos, Municipal Mayor of Bato, Leyte.

The visit served as an opportunity to reinforce the Bureau of Fire Protection's commitment to collaborative governance, discuss matters of mutual concern, and strengthen coordination in advancing fire safety, emergency preparedness, and public service initiatives within the municipality.

This engagement reflects the shared commitment of the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Local Government Unit of Bato to promote community safety, resilience, and responsive public service through sustained partnership and cooperation.

𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗼, 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 - August 24, 2026 - Bato Fire Station duty personnel under the leadership of 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟮 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗥 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗼, 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘭 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭, convened for a Station Personnel Meeting held at the station to discuss operational updates, administrative matters, and upcoming activities in line with the bureau’s ongoing programs and directives. The meeting aimed to strengthen coordination, enhance teamwork, and ensure the continuous delivery of efficient and responsive public service.

During the meeting, important reminders and key updates were emphasized to further enhance discipline, unity, and professionalism among all personnel, reinforcing the station’s commitment to public safety and service excellence.

The activity provided personnel an opportunity to reflect on their faith, strengthen unity and fellowship, and reaffirm the core values of integrity, compassion, and selfless service. Through this observance, the station remains committed to promoting the holistic well-being of its personnel and inspiring them to render responsive, professional, and dedicated public service to the community.
