𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || 📸🔥BASIC FIRE FIGHTING SKILLS TRAINING 🔥📸

In celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2026, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Bato, Leyte, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Bato Fire Station, successfully conducted a Basic Fire Fighting Skills Training on July 30–31, 2026.
The two-day training aimed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and readiness of participants in fire prevention, fire safety, and emergency response. Through comprehensive lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on practical exercises, participants learned the fundamentals of fire behavior, the proper use of portable fire extinguishers, and basic fire suppression techniques, empowering them to respond effectively during fire emergencies.
This activity forms part of the Municipality's continuing commitment to promoting disaster preparedness and resilience in support of the National Disaster Resilience Month theme, encouraging every individual and community to become proactive in reducing disaster risks and protecting lives and property.
