The three-day training brought together personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to strengthen inter-agency collaboration in addressing forest and grassland fire incidents. The activity was spearheaded by 𝐌𝐫. π–πˆπ‹π’πŽπ 𝐄. π‡π„ππ’πŽπ, 𝐑𝐏𝐅, OIC-PENRO Bohol, with the support of π‹π€π”πƒπ„πŒπˆπ‘ 𝐒. In his message, he emphasized the importance of inter-agency collaboration, environmental stewardship, and proactive forest fire management in safeguarding communities and natural resources from fire-related hazards.

A key highlight of the event was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between DENR and BFP, signifying a strengthened partnership in forest fire management, prevention, suppression, capacity building, and coordinated emergency response.

This initiative reaffirms the commitment of BFP and DENR to environmental stewardship, disaster resilience, and the protection of lives, properties, and natural resources.
