Bilang paghahanda para sa School Year 2026-2027, isasagawa simula ngayong Sabado, Enero 31, ang Early Registration sa mga pampublikong paaralan sa buong bansa.

Inaanyayahan ang mga magulang o guardian ng mga incoming Kindergaten, Grade 1, Grade 7, at Grade 11 learners na magtungo sa mga paaralan upang maipalista ang mga bata.

Maaaring makipag-ugnayan sa napiling paaralan para sa iba pang detalye at requirements sa early registration.

Clean the World Soap Distribution Held at Abatan Elementary School today

A soap distribution activity in partnership with Clean the World and the Office of the Congressman Maximo "Maxi" Y. Dalog, Jr. was successfully conducted today at Abatan Elementary School, benefiting school children and supporting the promotion of proper hygiene and health awareness.

Staff members from the Office of the Congressman Maximo personally led the distribution of hygiene soaps to the pupils. The initiative aimed to encourage regular handwashing and cleanliness among students, helping prevent the spread of illnesses and promote a healthier school environment.

School personnels and teachers expressed their appreciation for the activity, noting the importance of hygiene programs in safeguarding the well-being of learners. The pupils warmly received the hygiene supplies, which will help reinforce good personal care habits both in school and at home.

The partnership with Clean the World reflects a strong commitment to community welfare and public health, especially in educational institutions. Through initiatives like this, the Office of the Congressman continues to support programs that prioritize the needs of children and contribute to the overall development of local communities.

Abatan Elementary School Successfully Conducts Fourth Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

Abatan Elementary School— In alignment with the Philippines' commitment to disaster preparedness, Abatan Elementary School held its fourth quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on November 6, 2025, engaging pupils, teachers, and staff in a coordinated effort to reinforce safety protocols during seismic events.

The activity began at 9:00 a.m., with the sounding of alarms prompting participants to practice the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" technique under sturdy desks. Following established evacuation routes, over 170 of pupils and faculty calmly moved to designated open-field assembly areas, where homeroom teachers conducted headcounts to ensure accountability.

SDRRM Coordinator, Mary Mang-osan highlighted the drill’s role in fostering a culture of preparedness: "Regular drills equip our learners and staff with the muscle memory to act decisively during real emergencies." The event also addressed gaps in prior drills, such as streamlining evacuation paths for students with disabilities.

Abatan Elementary School remains dedicated to integrating disaster preparedness into its curriculum, with plans to expand fire safety and typhoon response training. The NSED’s success reflects the collective effort to safeguard lives and promote a proactive approach to emergencies.
