🚫​​Buenavista Elementary School Advocacy Campaign Against Dengue🦟

​The Baungon Municipal Health Office and Barangay Health Station Buenavista successfully conducted an anti-dengue awareness campaign at Buenavista Elementary School, highlighting the Department of Health’s "Taob, Taktak, Tuyo, Takip" strategy to eliminate mosquito breeding sites.

​The facilitators extend their sincere gratitude to the School Principal and the Faculty Members for their warm accommodation and invaluable support. Special appreciation is also extended to the Barangay Captain and the Barangay Council for their vital assistance and leadership, all of which greatly contributed to the success of this public health initiative.

​Today marks our pre-evaluation house-to-house inspections focused on sanitary toilet facilities, compost pit maintenance, and proper waste segregation. Ensuring every household meets health standards is a vital step toward a cleaner, greener community.

📢 PAHIMANGNO SA TANAN

Naay nag-circulate nga post online bahin sa kamatayon sa usa ka 4 anyos nga bata nga giingon kuno nga tungod sa Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine.

Bilang mga healthcare workers, gusto namo i-address ni nga isyu nga naay klaro nga impormasyon ug walay pagpanghadlok.

Ang MR vaccine dili ni bag-o. Ang mga bata sa atong National Immunization Program nakadawat na og measles-containing vaccine pag 9 months ug 12 months pa lang. Kining ginahatag karon nga MR dose kay dugang proteksyon, labi na kung naa’y outbreak o taas ang kaso sa measles.

⚠️ Importante masabtan:
Kung naay nahitabo nga sakit o kamatayon human sa bakuna, dili pasabot nga bakuna dayon ang hinungdan. Usahay nagkatakdo lang ang oras (coincidence). Mao nang kinahanglan gyud og:

✔️ Eksaminasyon sa doktor
✔️ Medical findings
✔️ Klarong cause of death sa death certificate
✔️ Imbestigasyon sa AEFI (Adverse Events Following Immunization)

‼️Kung walay opisyal ug medical nga ebidensya, ang pag-post dayon og konklusyon sa social media makahatag og kahadlok, kalibog, ug makapasangil sa mga health workers nga nagbuhat lang sa ilang trabaho aron maprotektahan ang mga bata batok sa measles ug rubella — mga sakit nga delikado ug makamatay.

❤️Ginrespeto nato ang pamilya nga nagbangutan, pero hinaut unta nga magmalinawon ta sa pag-share og impormasyon. Dili ta maghusga nga walay basehan.

👍🏼Ang bakuna ginahatag aron magluwas kinabuhi, dili magdaot. Ang inyong health workers ania aron motabang, dili aron mahimong dautan sa istorya nga walay pruweba.

Kung naa moy pangutana o kabalaka, duol lang sa inyong health center. Andam mi maminaw ug mupa-explain. 💙
