District PTA School Presidents and Bacnono ES SPTA Officers Initiate School Feeding Program

BACNONO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL — In a meaningful demonstration of unity and commitment to the welfare of learners, the District PTA School Presidents, together with the Bacnono Elementary School SPTA Officers headed by SPTA President Dennis Bautista, initiated a School Feeding Program for the learners of Bacnono Elementary School.

The initiative was conducted with the support and guidance of Dr. Jenny J. Marquez, Principal II, whose leadership continues to encourage strong collaboration among the school, parents, and community stakeholders.

The School Feeding Program aimed to provide nutritious meals to learners while promoting the importance of proper nutrition and healthy eating habits. More than simply providing food, the activity reflected the stakeholders’ shared concern for the health, well-being, and learning readiness of every child.

The District PTA School Presidents and Bacnono ES SPTA Officers worked together to make the activity meaningful and successful. Celebrating excellence in literacy and spelling! Bacnono Elementary School proudly honors the brilliant minds who triumphed in our recent Spelling Bee competition.

The highlight of the ceremony was the awarding and recognition of the winners, led by the school's esteemed principal, Dr. Jenny J. Marquez. Amidst thunderous applause from proud teachers, classmates, and parents, Dr. Marquez personally handed out medals and certificates to the top achievers.

Speaking during the program, Dr. Marquez commended all the participants for their dedication to academic excellence. She emphasized that spelling proficiency is a foundational building block for effective communication, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.

After days of rain, the sun finally shone as the Bacnono Elementary School community gathered for the flag ceremony. Led by School Principal Dr. Jenny J. Marquez, together with the teachers and learners, everyone stood with pride and respect in honoring the Philippine flag.

Bacnono ES Conducts Mid-Year CRLA, Phil-IRI, and RMA Assessment

Bacnono Elementary School conducted the administration of the Mid-Year Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA), Philippine Informal Reading Inventory (Phil-IRI), and Rapid Mathematics Assessment (RMA) among its learners as part of the school’s continuing efforts to monitor and strengthen learner performance.

The assessment activities were administered systematically by the teachers to determine learners’ current levels of literacy and numeracy, identify learning gaps, and provide essential data for appropriate instructional interventions.

Classroom Orientation on Active Threat Awareness and Safety Preparedness

Bacnono Elementary School conducted a classroom orientation on Active Threat Awareness and Safety Preparedness to strengthen learners’ and teachers’ understanding of appropriate safety measures during emergency situations, led by Dr. Jenny J. Marquez, School Principal.

The orientation focused on promoting awareness, preparedness, and calm decision-making in the event of an active threat within or near the school. Teachers guided learners on the importance of following established school safety protocols, listening to authorized instructions, remaining calm, and seeking safety during emergencies.
