The event gathered high-risk LGU employees, drivers, and healthcare workers, and included a free chest X-ray service made possible through the support of the Negros Oriental Provincial Health Office.

The City Health Office successfully conducted a Blood Letting Activity on June 13, 2026 at the Barangay Kalumboyan Gymnasium in celebration of World Blood Donor Day.

The City Health Office successfully conducted the Hypertension Month Celebration together with the launching of the Philippine Package of Essential Non-Communicable Disease Interventions (PhilPEN) on June 4, 2026 at Brgy. San Jose.

The activity aimed to promote awareness on hypertension prevention and healthy lifestyle practices while introducing the PhilPEN program to the community. Health education, blood pressure monitoring and consultations were conducted for the residents.

The activity was made successful through the cooperation of the Barangay Officials, Barangay Health Workers, and CHO personnel.

Overall, the activity encouraged the community to become more aware and proactive in maintaining their health and preventing non-communicable diseases.

🩸𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗗𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗬 🩸

The City Health Office successfully conducted a Bloodletting Activity last May 23, 2026 (Saturday) at the Sta. Bayabas Function Hall in partnership with the Provincial Health Office and volunteer donors who are committed to saving lives through blood donation.

A total of 204 individuals were recruited, with 153 accepted donors ( Male – 69, Female – 84). There were 47 new donors reported.

The City Health Office extends its heartfelt gratitude to all donors, volunteers, barangay officials, and partners who participated and supported this noble cause. Your generosity and willingness to donate blood help save countless lives in our community.
