155 ka Pawikan Hatchlings Malampusong Gipagawas sa Bayawan

Personal ta nakasaksi sa malampusong pagpisa ug pagpagawas balik sa dagat sa 155 ka pawikan hatchlings karong hapon sa Sitio Cansilong, Barangay Malabugas isip kabahin sa atong padayong marine conservation efforts dinhi sa Bayawan.

Dako ang akong paglaum nga kini silang mga pawikan magdako, mabuhi hangtod sa hustong edad, ug mobalik ra gihapon sa atong baybayon aron mangitlog pag-usab puhon. Pinaagi sa panagtinabangay sa lokal nga panggamhanan, mga volunteers, ug partner organizations, padayon nato nga gipanalipdan ang atong mga pawikan alang sa umaabot nga mga henerasyon.

Through the request of the City Government of Bayawan, thru the Human Resource Management Office, Bayawan City has officially been granted as one of the testing centers for the Civil Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for Professional and Subprofessional Levels on August 9, 2026. For the first time, examinees may take the examination in the City of Bayawan.

๐Ÿ“ƒOnsite Processing for the August 9, 2026 CSE-PPT will be conducted on May 18โ€“21 at Rooms 3 and 4 of the Legislative Building, New Government Center, Sitio Cabcabon, Banga, Bayawan City, for the acceptance of required documents.

โš ๏ธTo file a Civil Service Exam application online via OCSEAS (Online Civil Service Examination Application System), create an account at ocseas.csc.gov.ph, select region VII, and complete the profile. After selecting a test center, uploading documents (ID, photo, consent form), and receiving approval, you must set an appointment for personal appearance to pay the 500-peso fee.

Acceptance of applications shall be on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis and may be closed anytime before the deadline once the target number of applicants has been reached.

This is a great opportunity for Bayawanons and nearby communities to take the Civil Service Examination in a more accessible and convenient location.

I am proud to take part in advancing Bayawan City's Pawikan Conservation Areas, protecting the nesting sites in our coastal barangays. Seeing 115 pawikan eggs recorded in Malabugas reminds me that while nature does its part in one night, it is our shared responsibility to ensure their survival. Together, let us continue to safeguard our marine life and build a future where both our environment and community thrive.
