🏛️𝑳𝒐𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒁𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒔 (𝑳𝒁𝑩𝑨)

The 𝑳𝒐𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒁𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒔 (𝑳𝒁𝑩𝑨), chaired by Mayor John T. Raymond Jr., convened on August 13, 2026, to review applications for variances, exceptions, and simple subdivisions.

📋The meeting also addressed the proposed City of Bayawan Ordinance on Pickleball Courts Operations, with court owners invited to discuss its key provisions. Additionally, City Planning and Development Coordinator Mrs. Erjien Tenefrancia highlighted essential compliance guidelines under the National Building Code and local Zoning Ordinance. The new regulations focus on neighborhood welfare, community noise, parking, amenities, and strict operating hours – closing at 10:00 PM from Sunday to Thursday and at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.⏰🏡

🏛️𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬

Development is not the work of government alone. It is a shared responsibility - one that calls for the participation and collective voice of different sectors of the community.

On 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗖𝗗𝗖), chaired by Hon. John T. Raymond, Jr., convened to discuss various supplemental budget items proposed for inclusion in the Annual Investment Program (AIP) and for supplemental appropriation.

The CDC is a local special body mandated under the𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟭 (𝗥𝗔 𝟳𝟭𝟲𝟬). It brings together representatives from the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗟𝗚𝗨), 𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗡𝗚𝗢𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗦𝗢𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 - providing an avenue where different stakeholders can take part in shaping the city’s development priorities. The CPDO serves as the secretariat of the council.

Also among the major projects presented to the body were:

Last 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, key representatives from CPDO, the Mayor’s Office, City Engineering, CENRO, Accounting Office, and Legal Office met at Conference Room 3 of the Legislative Building for an initial discussion on establishing our very own 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 (𝗶𝗭𝗪𝗙 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝘁𝗘)! 🏛️📑

What does this mean for Bayawan City?
♻️ 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Moving closer to a zero-waste community by using modern, sustainable technology.

🤝𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Paving the way to assist neighboring towns and cities with sustainable waste solutions.

The Design and Build Committee membership was finalized, and an Executive Order will be issued soon to get the ball rolling! 🚀

🏗️ Samtang nagkadaghan ang mga pickleball courts sa atong siyudad, importante usab nga masiguro nga kini nga mga pasilidad matukod ug mapadagan sa husto ug luwas nga paagi. 🦺

📜 A City Ordinance specifying the policies and regulations governing the construction and operation of pickleball courts is currently being drafted by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City Government of Bayawan.

We will share updates on the specific provisions once these become available. 🏛️

✅ Meanwhile, all existing pickleball courts and those currently undergoing construction are encouraged to secure the necessary permits to help ensure public safety, environmental sustainability, and compliance with existing laws on business permitting and licensing. 🌱

Ang tumong sa maong survey mao ang pag-ila sa eksaktong utlanan, gilapdon, ug alignment sa dalan isip pangandam alang sa giplanong road improvement project.
