Atong hisgutan ang mga preparasyon ug mga detalye sa partisipasyon sa Bayawan sa matag kalihokan - ang Festival of Festivals, ang Buglasan Parada sa Kahayan (Parade of Lights) Float Competition, ang Festival King & Queen, ug ang Buglasan Booths Fair.

Apil usab sa atong panaghisgot ang HUNi Band, uban sa mga miyembro niini nga sila 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐮𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 ug 𝐕𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐠𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚 ug atong mailhan kung unsa ang kahulogan sa ngalan nga “HUNi.”

Atong hisgutan usab ang Christmas ID 2026 nga adunay titulo nga “BayaONe”—lakip ang proseso sa komposisyon ug ang mensahe nga gusto nilang ipaabot pinaagi sa mga lyrics.

𝗧𝗶𝗸𝗧𝗼𝗸 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 (𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆)

RULES AND GUIDELINES
1. The competition is an Inter-LGU challenge open to all municipalities and cities within Negros Oriental.
2. Each participating LGU shall produce a dance video that must contain and promote at least 2 of its LGU’s Cultural or Tourism Destination.
3. Using of greenscreen and generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms for the destination is strictly prohibited.
4. The entry must be in portrait-orientation.
5. Each participating group must consist a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 dancers.
6. The Participants must perform the required official choreography and music provided by the Buglasan Festival facebook official account. Revision of dance action choreography is not allowed.
7. Violators of the rules and guidelines will automatically DISQUALIFIED.
8. Entries must be uploaded in their social media in Facebook, Instagram and TikTok account starting October 1, 2026 until October 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM using the hashtag “LGU” MagBuglasanNaTa , hashtag Buglasan Festival 2026 and hashtag NegrosOriental.

9. The LGU will select their winner on October 14, 2026 to serve as the official finalist against other LGUs and will receive 5,000.00 pesos.
10. The LGU must send the Link of the entry video to the Buglasan Festival page before 11:59 PM on October 15, 2026. The committee will send an official acknowledgment upon receiving your video.
11. The total number of likes and shares from all three social media platforms will serve as the basis for the Likes and Share criterion, which is equivalent to 50% for the overall judging criteria.
12. The entries will be judged on October 24, 2026 at 12:00NN, and only likes and shares recorded before the deadline will be counted. Any likes and shares received after 12:00NN will not be counted. The announcement of winners will be on October 25, 2026.
13. Criteria for judging are as follows:

14. Ranking System is used to come up with the winners.
15. Prizes at stake:
Champion - ₱ 50,000.00
2nd Place - ₱ 30,000.00
3rd Place - ₱ 20,000.00
16. The decision of the Panel of Judges is final and not subject for appeal.

A celebration of culture, movement, and heritage as participants from DepEd teachers, City College of Bayawan (CCB) students, and NORSU teachers came together to learn, share, and keep our traditional folk dances alive.

Through every step, rhythm, and performance, we continue to weave culture and enrich the future—one dance at a time. ❤️

A thrilling journey of 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 as participants raced through different stations across Bayawan City—𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐚, 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞, 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥, 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. But let us also remember that utang na loob should never be used to control, manipulate, or take advantage of someone. Kindness should not become a reason to demand something in return, nor should gratitude mean giving up our freedom and boundaries.

True gratitude comes with humility, respect, and a sincere heart. May we remember the kindness we receive and return it—not because we are forced to, but because we genuinely want to.
