Baybay City, Leyte – September 03, 2026 — Personnel of the Baybay City Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO3 Julius T Matillano, Acting City Fire Marshal, actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents conducted at Baybay National High School.

The activity was conducted in coordination with the Baybay City Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Baybay National High School Risk Reduction and Management Team (RRMT) to strengthen the preparedness and response capabilities of the school community in the event of an active attack or other emergency incidents.
The drill focused on enhancing emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, emergency medical response, fire safety, coordination, communication, and appropriate response protocols among school personnel, students, and participating emergency responders.

Baybay City, Leyte - September 01, 2026 - The personnel of the Baybay City Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO3 Julius T Matillano, Acting City Fire Marshal, successfully conducted a Refresher Course on Firefighting Operations to strengthen operational readiness, enhance firefighting skills, and reinforce standard operational procedures during emergency response.
The activity served as an opportunity for all personnel to refresh their knowledge and practical competencies in firefighting techniques, proper use of equipment, teamwork, communication, and safety protocols.
