IN PHOTOS: The FFD Working Committees and UGMAD Search Committees gathered at RDE Breakout Room 2 on August 13–14, 2026, for the Farmers and Fisherfolks’ Day (FFD) Post-Assessment & Pre-Planning Activity for the upcoming FFD 2027.

The two-day activity provided an opportunity to reflect on best practices, assess previous activities, and share strategies for improvement to help make future FFD and UGMAD Search events more effective and meaningful.

iCARE Philippines in action!

The first leg of the VSU-led Extension Project, iCARE Philippines, in partnership with iLAJA Siargao, brought together around 80 farmers from Del Carmen, Siargao for a two-day capacity-building training on Regenerative Agriculture and Organizational Development.

"This is only the beginning. The palpable eagerness to learn from the farmers of Del Carmen serves as a powerful reminder of why this work matters, and why this must continue."

IN PHOTOS: Day 1 of the Basic Photography Training for Website Content Improvement, organized by the VSU Knowledge Management Unit (KMU), took place earlier today, bringing together participants from the main and component campuses for a hands-on learning session led by Engr. Joseph Kenneth Labastida.

The training focuses on strengthening photography skills of the KMU Unit Editors for the improvement of website content and to make VSU knowledge assets impactful through quality and improved photos.

VSU successfully conducted its 2026 Annual In-House Review (AIHR), bringing together researchers, extension implementers, and technical experts to assess the progress and impact of the university's research and extension initiatives.
