[Long Post] I genuinely tried to understand you. I listened to your story, gave you the benefit of the doubt, and tried to understand where you were coming from. But sometimes, knowing someone better does not make you understand them more. It simply opens your eyes.
Things did not just happen for no reason. I have seen how you changed. I have seen the choices you made and the side you chose to stand on. At some point, you have to recognise that things did not simply happen to you. You also played a part in how everything unfolded.
Perhaps what you never realised was how your choices made me feel. There were moments when it felt like we were travelling the same road, only for me to realise that somewhere along the way, you had already decided there was no seat for me. I was left standing at the side of the road, watching the bus move forward, wondering when and why I stopped being someone you wanted beside you.
For a while, that hurt. But eventually, I realised that being left behind does not always mean you have lost something. Sometimes it simply means it is time to find your own direction. I stopped chasing a seat on a journey where I no longer felt welcomed.
When people who have lived with you for years, people who knew you beyond what you show publicly, have shared similar experiences, perhaps it is worth asking yourself why. Not everyone who walks away is against you. Not everyone who calls you out is attacking you. And facing the consequences of your own choices does not automatically make you the victim.
So please, stop presenting yourself as the victim simply to gain sympathy while leaving out the parts of the story that might make people see things differently. Tell your story if you need to, but tell it honestly. A story is never complete when accountability is missing from its pages.
And perhaps it is also time to grow from within. You cannot spend your life sailing toward every storm and expecting the people closest to you to keep throwing you a lifeline. There will come a time when you have to learn how to navigate your own waters, repair your own boat, and find your own way back to shore.
The people who love you can guide you, support you, and stand beside you, but they cannot spend their lives rescuing you from lessons you refuse to learn. Growth begins when you stop waiting for someone to save you and start becoming strong enough to carry yourself through the storm.
Open your eyes. Not to find another person to blame, but to finally see yourself clearly. Let your actions reflect the person you claim to be. Let the person people see publicly be the same person you are when no one is watching.
I tried to understand you, and I did. Perhaps just not in the way you expected.
There is no hate here. I genuinely hope that one day you choose self reflection over sympathy, accountability over victimhood, and authenticity over appearances.
As for me, I have learned something too. I do not need to chase a bus that has already left me behind. There are other roads to take, and sometimes walking your own path leads you exactly where you were meant to be.
Sometimes the truth we avoid looking at is exactly the truth we need to face.
