LIGA NG MGA BARANGAY ENGAGES LAWMAKERS ON KEY BARANGAY CONCERNS

Led by National President Jessica G. Dy, with Hon. John M. Babli-ing, President of the Liga ng mga Barangay – Nueva Vizcaya, in attendance, the Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas National Executive Board and National Directorate from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao visited the House of Representatives to discuss key 𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗔𝗖 legislative priorities affecting barangays.

Among the issues raised were the proposed Magna Carta for Barangays, amendments to the Local Government Code, and matters concerning the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

The Liga reaffirmed its commitment to respect the decision of Congress while emphasizing one constant principle: service to the barangays and their communities—elections or no elections.

The Liga extends its appreciation to House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” G. Dy III and the members of the House of Representatives for the warm welcome and meaningful dialogue.

Establishing the Quezon Greenbelt as a Permanent Forest Park, providing for its management, maintenance, conservation, and protection.

Declaring Tangguyob Green Park and providing measures for its management, maintenance, and conservation.

Pinangunahan nina Governor Jose V. Gambito, Vice Governor Eufemia A. Dacayo, at Liga ng mga Barangay Nueva Vizcaya Chapter President at Ex-Officio Board Member Hon. John M. Babli-ing, kasama ang mga miyembro ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan, ang pamamahagi ng mga tseke sa ilalim ng Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program.

Ang releasing ng mga tseke ay pinamahalaan ng Provincial Treasury Office, sa pakikipagtulungan ng mga kawani ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan, upang matiyak ang maayos at organisadong pamamahagi sa mga barangay.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan, DILG, Liga ng mga Barangay, at iba pang katuwang na tanggapan, patuloy na naihahatid ang mga programang nagbibigay ng direktang suporta sa ating mga barangay at sa mga mamamayang kanilang pinaglilingkuran.

Sama-sama sa paghahatid ng tapat na serbisyo at tunay na malasakit para sa bawat barangay ng Nueva Vizcaya. 💙

📌 LIGA NG MGA BARANGAY SPECIAL MEETING

Nagsagawa ng Special Meeting ang Liga ng mga Barangay – Nueva Vizcaya Chapter kung saan ipinaliwanag ng DILG ang mga guidelines para sa pagpapatupad ng Bawat Barangay Makikinabang Program (BBMP).

Dumalo rin sa pagpupulong si PLGU Provincial Treasurer Rhoda S. Moreno, na nagbigay ng mahahalagang impormasyon at mga paalala kaugnay ng implementasyon ng programa.

Sa kanyang mensahe, sinabi ni Liga President at Board Member Hon. John M. Babli-ing na ayon sa National Liga, kung magiging maayos ang implementasyon ng BBMP, may posibilidad na masundan pa ito ng panibagong programa. Kaya naman hinikayat niya ang lahat ng mga Punong Barangay na tiyaking maayos at naaayon sa itinakdang guidelines ang pagpapatupad nito.

🤝 Sama-sama nating suportahan ang programang makikinabang ang bawat barangay.

The Committee on Barangay Affairs conducted its committee meeting to discuss and deliberate on various matters concerning barangay governance and community development.
