The activity provided Batch 2 SPES beneficiaries with a comprehensive orientation on the program's objectives, policies, work ethics, duties, responsibilities, and expectations. Following the orientation, the DOLE Antique Field Office, in coordination with the PESO Belison staff, conducted a monitoring visit to ensure the effective implementation of the program and the welfare of the participating student beneficiaries.

This initiative was made possible through the unwavering support of Hon. Christopher H. Piccio, Municipal Mayor of Belison, whose steadfast commitment to youth employment and development continues to strengthen the implementation of employment programs and expand opportunities for the municipality's young people.

Through the continued partnership between the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Local Government Unit of Belison, the Special Program for the Employment of Students provides students with meaningful work experience, practical skills, and valuable exposure that enhance their employability and prepare them for future careers.

The activity served to monitor the progress and welfare of Batch 1 Government Interns while orienting Batch 2 participants on the program's guidelines, roles, responsibilities, and expectations. It also reaffirmed the commitment of DOLE and its partner local government units to providing meaningful work experience and enhancing the employability of the youth through the Government Internship Program.

The Municipality of Belison, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) under the leadership of Mr. Noli E. Pagunsan, joined Brigada Eskwela 2026 together with Government Internship Program (GIP) beneficiaries, Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) beneficiaries, PESO staff, and TUPAD workers.

The volunteer activities were conducted in all public schools across the Municipality of Belison on various dates from June 3–6, 2026.

The initiative aimed to help prepare the schools for the opening of classes by promoting cleanliness, safety, volunteerism, and community cooperation in support of the education sector.
