El Niño Alert issued ⚠️

DOST-PAGASA has officially raised its ENSO Alert and Warning System to El Niño Alert, following the high likelihood of its development in the coming months and possible persistence into early 2027. This may bring drier-than-usual conditions, including dry spells and droughts in parts of the country.

However, above-normal rainfall may still be experienced over the western sections during the Habagat season.

In the wake of women reclaiming their power in various specialized roles and societal system transformation, from marginalized groups to agents of change, women in the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) have rise, proving their leadership and competence have went beyond the walls of the households and breaking the bo***ge of historical discrimination and traditional norms against women.

In celebrating this year’s National Women’s Month, the Office of Civil Defense Region II, honors and celebrates remarkable women in Cagayan Valley who work tirelessly towards ensuring the safety and protection of the community against disasters. These women continuously prove their capacity in reducing vulnerabilities and innovating their participation towards resilient communities.

Just like the Babaylans, they are reflections of leadership, strength, and feminine power.

MARSO 12, 2026 || 1ST QUARTER NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL

​Matagumpay na nakiisa ang iba’t ibang paaralan at barangay sa ating munisipalidad sa pagsasagawa ng 1st Quarter NSED ngayong araw.
​Ang teknik na Duck, Cover, and Hold ay masigasig na ginabayan ng MDRRMO LART 1115, upang masiguro na ang mga evacuation protocol at emergency response standards ay mahigpit na nasunod. Ang paghahanda sa sakuna ay isang tuluy-tuloy na hakbang.

Manatiling handa sa banta ng lindol. Makiisa sa First Quarter NSED sa March 12, 2026, 3:30 P.M. Sabay-sabay tayong mag-duck, cover, and hold!
Magsisimula ang programa ng 2:30 P.M. Susundan ito ng ceremonial pressing of the button sa ganap na 3:30 P.M. Hudyat ito ng pagda-duck, cover, and hold.

Bilang bahagi ng First Quarter NSED, nakatakdang isagawa ang tabletop exercise na dadaluhan ng mga opisyal at kinatawan ng mga ahensya ng pamahalaan. Layunin nito na suriin ang kanilang kahandaan sa pagtugon sa iba’t ibang sitwasyon kaugnay ng Magnitude 7.2 Earthquake mula sa paggalaw ng West Valley Fault.
