π‹πŽπŽπŠ: The Coast Guard District Bicol (CGDBCL) proudly participates in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off at Marcial O. RaΓ±ola Memorial School (MORMS), reaffirming its commitment to fostering a safe, clean, and learner-friendly environment for all students on 01 June 2026.

This initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of LGU Guinobatan, Barangay Officials of Guinobatan, DSWD, SPTA, MORMS Alumni, and other valued stakeholders, united in preparing the school for a successful and productive academic year.

Through this collective endeavor, we continue to uphold the spirit of volunteerism, strengthen community partnerships, and promote bayanihan as we work together toward a brighter future for every learner.

π‹πŽπŽπŠ | Coast Guard Station Camarines Sur, led by LT KENNY E. VILLAFUERTE, PCG, conducted the Monday Morning Colors Ceremony followed by the formal Turnover of Command of Coast Guard Sub-Stations at the Coast Guard Station, Provincial Capitol Complex, Brgy. Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur.

The ceremony signified the official transition of leadership between outgoing and incoming Sub-Station Commanders, reinforcing the Philippine Coast Guard's commitment to professionalism, operational readiness, and mission continuity. The turnover of command serves as a vital tradition that ensures the seamless transfer of authority, responsibilities, and accountability in the performance of Coast Guard duties and functions within their respective areas of responsibility.

LT Villafuerte PCG expresses its sincere appreciation to the outgoing commanders for their dedicated service, leadership, and valuable contributions to the organization. At the same time, it warmly welcomes the incoming commanders as they take on the responsibility of leading their units in upholding maritime safety, maritime security, marine environmental protection, and the preservation of lives and property at sea.

π‹πŽπŽπŠ: | Coast Guard Station Camarines Sur, through Coast Guard Sub-Station Camaligan (CGSS Camaligan), Coast Guard Mobile Team Canaman (CGMT Canaman), and Special Operations Unit Camarines Sur (SOU CamSur), rendered security assistance and served as safety marshals during the fluvial procession conducted as part of the Annual Barangay Fiesta Celebration in honor of Saint Anne.

The operation covered the waters from Barangay Ponong to Barangay Sta. Rosa, Magarao, Camarines Sur, ensuring the safe, secure, and orderly conduct of the religious activity attended by devotees, residents, and visitors.

Through proactive maritime safety measures and visible presence on the waterways, the Philippine Coast Guard continues to uphold its commitment to protecting lives, preserving public safety, and supporting meaningful community and religious gatherings.

𝐈𝐍 ππ‡πŽπ“πŽπ’: The Coast Guard District Bicol was successfully conducted the Water Search and Rescue (WASAR) Orientation and Demonstration through Special Operation Group Bicol (SOG-BCL), with eighteen (18) participants from Saver Philippines, at Brgy. Mahaba, Ligao City, Albay from 30-31 May 2026.

Participants actively engaged in both orientation and hands-on demonstration, practicing basic rescue techniques and coordinated response procedures. The training strengthened their confidence and readiness in handling water-related emergencies.

The CGDBCL is committed to continuously improving disaster preparedness and response capabilities through sustained training, capacity-building initiatives, and strong inter-agency cooperation.
