๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š:Personnel of Coast Guard Station Camarines Sur (CGS Camarines Sur) participated in the celebration of the 58th Charter Anniversary of Iriga City held today 03 September 2026.

The celebration brought together various government agencies, participating schools, organizations, and community stakeholders in a series of activities, including the Grand Parade, CTP/MAPEH/DRRM Parade Competition, Majorettes Exhibition, Color Guards, and other presentations.

The participation of CGS Camarines Sur highlights the Philippine Coast Guardโ€™s continued support for local government initiatives and its commitment to strengthening partnerships, promoting community engagement, and supporting meaningful civic celebrations

๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’:The Coast Guard District Bicol (CGDBCL) participated in the โ€œBuhay Marineroโ€ radio guesting aired over Radyo Veritas Legazpi at Legazpi City, Albay on 03 September 2026.

The radio guesting featured LTJG Jerson Cervantes PCG, Commander, Special Operations Group Bicol (SOG-BCL); LTJG Ronel B Robosa PCG, Commander, Human Resource Management Unit Bicol (HRMU-BCL); LTJG Michael J Bercasio PCG, Deputy Commander, Maritime Safety and Security Unit Bicol (MSSU-BCL); LTJG Jordan J Verdida PCG, Commander, Marine Environmental Protection Group Bicol (MEPG-BCL); and SN1 Allan L Llagas PCG, Petty Officer-in-Charge, Civil Relations Group Bicol (CRG-BCL).

During the program, the participating personnel discussed the various roles and responsibilities of their respective units, highlighting the Coast Guardโ€™s continuing efforts in maritime law enforcement, maritime security, search and rescue, marine environmental protection, and public information and community engagement. The discussion likewise complemented the MANA Mo 2026 emphasizing the importance of maritime awareness, safety, preparedness, and collective responsibility in protecting the maritime domain.

The radio guesting likewise served as an avenue to strengthen public awareness and encourage the active participation of maritime stakeholders and the community in ensuring safe and secure seas.

Through its participation in โ€œBuhay Marineroโ€ on Radyo Veritas Legazpi, CGDBCL continues to maximize radio engagement as a platform to bring the Coast Guard closer to the people, disseminate timely and reliable maritime information, and promote a culture of safety and preparedness among the Bicolano community.

Nakahanda na ang Coast Guard Station Camarines Sur para sa Peรฑafrancia Festival 2026, partikular ang isasagawang Fluvial Procession sa Setyembre 19.

Ayon kay LT Kenny Villafuerte, ang Station Commander ng CGS CamSur, prayoridad nila ang kaligtasan ng mga partisipante at mga deboto sa fluvial procession dahil kabahagi sila sa aktibidad na ito.

Patuloy naman aniya ang koordinasyon at mga pagpupulong nito sa mga ahensya para tiyakin ang kaligtasan ng lahat, habang magkakaroon naman ng rehistrasyon ng mga bangka na gagamitin sa fluvial.

600 personnel naman ang ide-deploy sa pista, at may floating assets na gagamitin ang CGS Camsur, katulad ng boya na ilalagay sa Naga River upang maging gabay sa mga makikilahok sa fluvial procession, at ng rescue assets ng CGSCS upang maiwasan ang anumang sakuna. | via Jerome Toledo | RP Naga

Marcos Jr. at the Heroes Hall, Malacaรฑang Palace, Manila, on 01 September 2026.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the careers of the newly promoted PCG Flag Officers, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the highest standards of leadership, integrity, and service to the nation. President Marcos Jr. likewise emphasized the importance of leading by example and preparing the next generation of Coast Guard leaders.
