The Biñan City Police Advisory Group (BCPAG) successfully conducted its Monthly Meeting, Recommitment Ceremony, Election, and Oathtaking of Newly Elected Officers on February 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM held at the Conference Room, Biñan Component City Police Station.

The activity formally commenced with the welcome remarks of PMAJ Antonio C. Viernes, Deputy Chief of Police and TWG Chairman, who acknowledged the presence and continued commitment of the members of the advisory group.

This was followed by the Pledge of Commitment of the current members, presided over by PLTCOL Allan Reginald L. Basiya, Chief of Police, reaffirming the group’s dedication to strengthening police–community partnership and promoting peace and order in the City of Biñan.

Subsequently, the election of the new set of officers was conducted in accordance with the group’s internal guidelines to ensure continuity of leadership and effective organizational management. The newly elected officers then took their formal oath of office, signifying their readiness to assume their respective duties and responsibilities.

The meeting proceeded with the discussion of key agenda items, including:
1. Transition of leadership and turnover of responsibilities
2. Plans and programs for the First Quarter of 2026
3. Strengthening community engagement initiatives
4. Other matters relevant to the organization

The activity concluded with a renewed sense of unity and shared commitment among members to further enhance collaborative efforts between the Philippine National Police and the community toward a safer and more secure Biñan.

Project Second Chance: “Hanapbuhay, Bagong Buhay” was successfully conducted on December 12, 2025, at the Biñan LYDC Conference Room. The initiative was jointly initiated by the Biñan Component City Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Biñan City Police Advisory Group, highlighting a shared commitment to rehabilitation, community empowerment, and sustainable peace.

The activity involved the awarding of livelihood grants to five (5) carefully selected beneficiaries identified by the Biñan Component City PNP. The program aimed to provide economic support while restoring dignity, hope, and opportunities for individuals committed to rebuilding their lives through honest and productive means.

The awarding ceremony emphasized that the initiative goes beyond financial assistance, it is a symbol of trust, compassion, and belief in second chances. The partnership between the PNP and the Police Advisory Group further strengthened the program through collaborative community support and inclusive governance.

The activity concluded with expressions of gratitude from the beneficiaries, who committed to using the assistance responsibly. Project Second Chance stands as a meaningful reminder that with guidance, opportunity, and community support, a new beginning is always possible.

Last August 1, 2025, the Biñan Component City Police Station formally launched the Police Client Relations Desk, an initiative aimed at strengthening the connection between the police force and the community. The desk serves as a platform to listen to citizen concerns, respond to complaints, and deliver more effective services for the people of Biñan.

The event was graced by Mayor GEL Alonte and Governor Sol Aragones, who both expressed their commitment to fostering closer collaboration between the government, the police, and the community. During the program, Mayor Alonte also received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Laguna Police Provincial Office for his steadfast support to the Project “Alaga sa Mamamayan” Community Relations initiative.

The Biñan City Police Advisory Group actively participated and extended its full support to this significant milestone. By being present and engaged, the advisory group reaffirmed its role as a partner of the police in promoting transparency, accountability, and community-centered service. Their presence highlighted the importance of civic participation in ensuring that police programs truly respond to the needs of the people.

The launching of the Police Client Relations Desk marked another step forward in bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community—an effort that will continue to thrive through collaboration, trust, and shared responsibility.

The Biñan City Police Advisory Group (BCPAG) held its monthly meeting on September 13, 2025, at 4:00 PM in the Biñan Component City Police Station’s Conference Room, Brgy. Zapote, Biñan City, Laguna. The meeting, presided over by Mr. Alex Lapiz, Interim Chairperson, was attended by BCPAG officers and members. It aimed to strengthen community participation and collaboration in public safety initiatives and ensure the sustainability of ongoing programs.

The session began with the opening of the meeting and welcoming of participants, highlighting the shared commitment of members to peace and order initiatives in the city. This was followed by updates on the recently concluded Crime Prevention Training, where feedback, follow-up, and next steps were discussed to sustain the program. The group then deliberated on the Cariton Business Opportunity Project for a deserving family, revisiting criteria to ensure the long-term impact of the initiative. Updates and feedback were also provided on the Alaga sa Mamamayan Community Relation Program, with suggestions to increase awareness and accessibility to better serve the community.

Another key agenda tackled was the request for vehicles for PNP Biñan personnel, where the body was informed about the status of the request. Members expressed full support in pushing forward the procurement to improve mobility and visibility of the police force. The group also discussed the possibility of conducting a courtesy call to the Provincial Governor to strengthen partnerships and seek support for public safety programs. Furthermore, plans were made to organize either a feeding program or a medical/dental mission before the year ends, and committees were tasked to prepare proposals and coordinate with partners.

Members were then reminded about the updating of membership fees, with the secretariat tasked to consolidate the records of compliance. During the discussion of other matters, members raised additional suggestions and minor concerns, emphasizing the importance of unity and continued active participation in all initiatives. The meeting concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Lapiz, who expressed his gratitude to all members for their commitment and support. The session was formally adjourned at 6:00 PM.

Overall, the September 2025 meeting of the Biñan CPS Advisory Group successfully addressed updates on previous initiatives, laid out plans for upcoming community projects, and reinforced the importance of collaboration between the advisory group, the police force, and external partners. The group reaffirmed its dedication to promoting peace, safety, and community development through collective action and civic participation.

Earlier today, July 21, 2025, a significant event took place at the City Mayor’s Office as the newly constituted members of the Biñan Philippine National Police (PNP) Advisory Group formally took their Oath of Office before the honorable City Mayor Angelo B. Alonte.

The oathtaking ceremony symbolizes the group’s official commitment to uphold the values of integrity, transparency, and public service, as they perform their advisory roles in support of the Biñan PNP’s mission for peace and order. The newly inducted members are composed of respected individuals from various sectors of the community, including youth leaders, educators, business professionals, civil society representatives, and advocates of good governance.

Following the ceremony, the group conducted a Courtesy Call with Mayor Alonte, where a fruitful dialogue ensued. The mayor expressed his full support for the advisory group’s initiatives and emphasized the importance of multisectoral collaboration in achieving sustainable peace and security in the city. He also acknowledged the crucial role of community-based advisory bodies in bridging the gap between law enforcement and the general public.

During the discussion, members of the advisory group shared their insights and initial plans for strengthening police-community relations, promoting public safety education, and ensuring accountability in police operations. The Biñan City Police Station held its City Police Advisory Group (CPAG) Meeting at the station headquarters in Brgy. Zapote, Biñan City. The program began with a solemn prayer led by Ptr. Soledad Garcia, followed by the roll call of attendees facilitated by Dr. Evangeline B. Parati. PMAJ Antonio Viernez, Duty Officer of the Day, delivered the Welcome Message, underscoring the importance of community collaboration in maintaining peace and order.

The Pledge of Commitment of the current members and the Oath Taking of the new member were both presided over by the Chief of Police, reaffirming their shared dedication to upholding public safety and trust.

During the meeting proper, key matters were discussed, including the Transition of Leadership, strategic Plans and Programs, and Other Concerns raised by members to improve community policing efforts. Members were also given the opportunity to share messages of support and insights for continued partnership with the Philippine National Police. The session ended with a Closing Message from PLTCOL Allan Reginald L. Basiya, who expressed appreciation for the council's commitment and encouraged continuous collaboration.

The entire program was smoothly facilitated by Mr. Mc Larnel Aliluran, who served as the Master of Ceremony. The meeting successfully strengthened the bond between the police force and the community, reinforcing their collective mission for a safer Biñan.
