On May 16โ€“17, 2026, the alumni of Bohol Island State University โ€“ Bilar Campus gathered at the BISU-Bilar Gymnasium for the celebration of the 3rd Grand Alumni Homecoming with the theme, โ€œ๐˜ž๐˜ฆ ๐˜‰๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ, ๐˜ž๐˜ฆ ๐˜™๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฃ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ, ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜›๐˜ฐ๐˜จ๐˜ฆ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ ๐˜ž๐˜ฆ ๐˜Š๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฃ๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ฆ.โ€ The two-day event became a meaningful reunion of memories, friendships, and shared experiences among graduates from different batches.

The program officially opened with a Holy Mass, followed by a motorcade and opening program attended by university officials, alumni, guests, and local leaders. An inspirational message was delivered by Hon. Benjie S Oliva, Municipal Mayor of Catigbian and Guest Speaker from College Batch 2002, who emphasized unity, gratitude, and the importance of preserving the strong bond among BISU-Bilar alumni.

The celebration was filled with exciting activities such as batch presentations, cultural performances, raffle games, fellowship night, and the coronation of the 2026 Homecoming King and Queen. Alumni from various generations reconnected and strengthened their bond as one BISU-Bilar community.

The event concluded successfully through the collective efforts of the organizers, alumni officers, faculty, students, and ROTC officers, reflecting the enduring spirit of camaraderie and pride of being a true BISUanon.

The celebration gathered cadets, cadettes, ROTC officers, instructors and guests for an evening of elegance, unity, and camaraderie.

The program formally opened with the GRAND ENTRANCE followed by the OPENING PRELIMINARIES which included the Opening Prayer, Entrance of Colors, and the singing of the National Anthem, Awit sa Bohol, and BISU Hymn. The WELCOME ADDRESS and STATEMENT OF PURPOSE emphasized the importance of fellowship, teamwork, and strengthening the bond among members of the ROTC Unit.

One of the highlights of the program was the INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE which encouraged the cadets and officers to continue upholding discipline, integrity, and excellence in their service and studies. This was followed by the MESSAGE OF THE GUEST SPEAKER delivered by ๐Œ๐€๐‰ ๐‘๐„๐Œ๐”๐„๐‹ ๐‚. ๐‰๐€๐‹๐„ (๐Ž๐’) ๐๐€, ROTC Commandant, who shared inspiring words on leadership, responsibility, and commitment as future defenders and leaders of the nation. The audience was further delighted by the elegant WALTZ DANCE of the ROTC officers together with their sponsors and escorts, showcasing grace, confidence, and unity.
The celebration continued with the GUITAR PRESENTATION by selected cadettes and the much-awaited COTILLION AND SOCIAL DANCE which brought joy, excitement, and stronger camaraderie among all attendees. The evening also included the presentation of MAJOR AND MINOR AWARDS, recognizing outstanding cadets and participants who demonstrated excellence and active participation during the event.

On 10 May 2026, the BOHOL ISLAND STATE UNIVERSITYโ€“BILAR CAMPUS RESERVE OFFICERS' TRAINING CORPS UNIT successfully held its Closing Ceremony, celebrating the achievements, leadership, and dedication of the ROTC cadets and officers.

The ceremony formally commenced with the ENTRANCE OF COLOURS, followed by the INVOCATION and the solemn SINGING OF THE HYMN. The WELCOME REMARKS and STATEMENT OF PURPOSE were delivered in behalf of the Campus Director by ๐‹๐ˆ๐Œ๐–๐„๐‹ ๐€ ๐๐€๐‹๐ƒ๐Ž๐™๐€, NSTP Coordinator, warmly welcoming the guests, officers, and cadets while emphasizing the significance of the ceremony and the accomplishments of the graduating cadets.

The INTRODUCTION OF THE GUEST SPEAKER was led by ๐Œ๐€๐‰ ๐‘๐„๐Œ๐”๐„๐‹ ๐‚ ๐‰๐€๐‹๐„ (๐Ž๐’) ๐๐€, ROTC Commandant, followed by the MESSAGE OF THE GUEST SPEAKER delivered by ๐๐Ž๐‘๐Œ๐€๐ ๐ƒ ๐๐€๐‹๐€๐‚๐ˆ๐Ž, Mayor of the Municipality of Bilar, who inspired the cadets with words of encouragement, patriotism, and service.

The GIVING OF TOKEN TO THE GUEST SPEAKER was then conducted as a symbol of appreciation and gratitude. Afterwards, the DECLARATION OF GRADUATES was officiated by the Assistant Commandant, ๐‚๐๐“ ๐‰๐”๐๐ˆ๐„๐‹ ๐• ๐†๐„๐‹๐๐Ž๐‹๐ˆ๐๐†๐Ž (๐ˆ๐๐…) ๐๐€, officially recognizing the successful completion of the cadetsโ€™ ROTC training.

The ceremony continued with the GIVING OF CERTIFICATES AND AWARDS, honoring cadets, cadettes, officers, and instructors for their dedication and exemplary performance throughout the academic year.

One of the highlights of the event was the CHANGE OF COMMAND AND TURNOVER OF THE UNIT COLOR, symbolizing the transition of leadership and responsibility within the corps. A heartfelt CORPS COMMANDER MESSAGE was delivered by ๐‚๐ƒ๐“ ๐‚๐Ž๐‹ ๐‰๐€๐Œ๐„๐’ ๐… ๐‡๐ˆ๐๐†๐‡๐ˆ๐๐† ๐Ÿ๐‚๐‹, reflecting on the experiences, leadership, and memories shared throughout his term as Corps Commander.
