May 11, 2026 β€” The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Biliran employees, together with Elected Officials, Department Heads, BLGU Officials, and BFP representative, proudly joined the celebration of the 34th Biliran Provincehood Anniversary.

From the Grand Civic Parade starting at the Naval Cathedral up to the Commencement Program at the Biliran Province Civic Center, Biliran Capitol Ground, the celebration was filled with unity, pride, and good vibes as Biliranons honored another milestone in the province’s journey.

Together for the Planet: LGUBEA Supports Earth Hour 2026✨🌍

In line with the global call for environmental action and in celebration of Earth Hour 2026, the LGU-Biliran Employees’ Association (LGUBEA) took part in the recently held β€œEarth Hour Torch Parade” on March 28. The activity commenced at 8:30 PM in front of the Municipal Gymnasium.

Held during the official Earth Hour (8:30 PM–9:30 PM), the event gathered participants from various sectors, including the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Barangay Officials, Municipal Elected Officials, Department Heads, and both regular and non-regular personnel of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Biliran. Participants used cellphone flashlights as improvised torches, symbolizing unity and commitment to environmental sustainability.
