ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 17

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 127, government offices are directed to shift to appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces starting 12:00 noon on August 17, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Zambales
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Cavite
📍 Batangas
📍 Rizal
📍 Laguna
📍 Quezon
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Ipinapaalala ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) na ang pagpapalawig ng bisa ng driver's license, conductor's license, student-driver's permit, at rehistro ng sasakyan, gayundin ang hindi pagpapataw ng multa para sa late renewal, ay hanggang 31 Hulyo 2026 na lamang alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. MVL-2026-5157.

Pagkatapos ng nasabing petsa, ang mga expired na lisensya, permit, at rehistro ng sasakyan na hindi pa nare-renew ay sasailalim na sa umiiral na mga patakaran at kaukulang multa para sa late renewal.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat ng motorista at may-ari ng sasakyan na i-renew na ang kanilang mga dokumento bago ang 31 Hulyo 2026 upang maiwasan ang abala at mga kaukulang parusa.

Para sa karagdagang impormasyon, makipag-ugnayan sa pinakamalapit na tanggapan ng LTO o bisitahin ang opisyal na social media pages ng ahensya.

Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. MVL-2026-5048 extended ang validity ng mga sumusunod:

-Driver's Licenses
-Conductor's Licenses
-Student-Driver's Permit
-Motor Vehicle Registration

Para sa mga nag-expire simula April 2026, extended ito ng 3 buwan mula sa original expiry date. Kung nag-expire ang dokumento noong April o May, maaari pa itong irenew sa loob ng extension period ng walang surcharges, penalty o fine.
