Ngayong Women with Disabilities Day, kinikilala natin ang kababaihang may kapansanan bilang mga makabagong babaylan—tagapagdala ng lakas, karunungan, at inspirasyon sa ating lipunan.

Sila ay hindi lamang nakikibahagi—sila ay aktibong lumilikha ng pagbabago, humahamon sa limitasyon, at nagbibigay daan sa isang lipunang pantay, inklusibo, at may malasakit sa lahat.

Patuloy nating suportahan at palakasin ang kanilang tinig, kakayahan, at karapatan—sapagkat sa bawat kababaihang may kapansanan, naroon ang tunay na lakas ng pagbabago.” 💜

Ang PDAO Biñan ay nakikiisa sa paggunita ng Ika-50 National Intellectual Disability Week na may temang:

“Ginintuang Ani ng Pag-ibig Tungo sa Matagumpay at Tunay na Inklusyon.”

Sa pagdiriwang na ito, patuloy nating palakasin ang diwa ng pagmamahal, pagtanggap, at paggalang upang maisulong ang pantay na karapatan at makabuluhang partisipasyon ng mga taong may intellectual disability sa ating komunidad.

Magkaisa tayo sa pagtataguyod ng isang inklusibong Biñan na nagbibigay-halaga at pagkakataon sa lahat. 💙

“The Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) proudly joins the global community in celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025. Guided by this year’s theme, ‘Fostering Disability-Inclusive Societies for Advancing Social Progress,’ we reaffirm our commitment to building communities where persons with disabilities are empowered, included, and fully supported.

Through our Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) programs, we work closely with families, barangays, local government units, and multisectoral partners to strengthen accessibility, enhance participation, and ensure that essential services reach every person with disability. As we continue to break barriers and promote equal opportunities, we move together toward a society where dignity, independence, and meaningful engagement are upheld for all.”

✨ ALDAO Association of Laguna Disability Affairs Organization ✨

We recently held a general meeting to strengthen our programs and services for the PWD community in Laguna.

📌 Highlights of the Meeting:
✅ Discussion on the Unified PWD ID System and pilot testing in selected cities of Laguna.
✅ Launch of an employment program for the Deaf and Mute sector in partnership with Fast Logistics.
✅ Induction of ALDAO members, affirming their commitment to advocate for the rights and welfare of PWDs.
✅ Presentation of the Flagship Program of ALDAO, focusing on inclusive livelihood, advocacy, and access to basic services.

💡 Together, we are building a stronger and more unified PWD community in Laguna—empowered, inclusive, and future-ready!

We, Bianca Haziel Anne S. Chico, Mary Miguelle A. Cunanan, and Alessandra Lisell B. Olaivar, are 5th-year architecture students from Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna.
