MUNICIPALITY UPDATE: SANGGUNIANG BAYAN SESSION HIGHLIGHTS
Today, July 27, 2026, your Sangguniang Bayan convened for its regular session to tackle vital administrative and legislative matters aimed at moving our municipality forward.

1. Concurrence of our New Municipal Administrator
The council officially took up the concurrence of Mr. Gaudencio Baja as our new Municipal Administrator. We look forward to his leadership, dedication, and service in managing our local government operations effectively.
2. First Reading:

Senior Barangay Health Workers (BHWs)
To honor the hard work of our community frontliners, an ordinance was introduced today on its First Reading. This proposed law aims to grant a one-time Service Incentive Award of
Ten Thousand Pesos (โฑ10,000.00) to our dedicated Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) who:

Reach the age of sixty (60) years old

Have rendered at least twenty (20) years of active community service
The ordinance has been referred to the appropriate committees for review, budget appropriation, and public hearing.
