The MDRRMO Binalonan continues its monitoring activities and conducted pruning within the municipal grounds following the heavy rains in the past few days, helping ensure a safe free environment for employees, public, and promptly addressing potential hazards within our area of responsibility.

FLOOD MONITORING AND ROAD ASSISTANCE✌

Today, August 10, 2026, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) led by Mayor Ramon Ronald V. Guico IV,in supervision of Ms. Joana Mae H. Delos Reyes, conducted inspection and monitoring of the flooded area with the Barangay Officials of Brgy. Sumabnit in Sitio Casabaan Sur Brgy. Sumabnit due to continuous heavy rains.

The team also assisted motorists along the National Highway from Brgy. Sumabnit up to the stretch of Brgy. Bugayong, particularly in areas affected by potholes caused by persistent rainfall.

Motorists are advised to slow down and exercise extra caution when passing through affected areas.

Ngayong araw, patuloy ang pagsasagawa ng monitoring ng MDRRMO Binalonan sa pamumuno ng butihing Mayor Ramon Ronald V. Guico IV, sa pangangasiwa ni Ms. Joana Mae H. Delos Reyes, kasama ang Municipal Engineer, ng inspeksyon at pagbabantay sa ilang lugar dahil sa patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan dulot ng Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Nakipag-ugnayan din sa RHU at MSWDO para sa patuloy na koordinasyon at paghahanda sa anumang posibleng epekto ng sama ng panahon.

Sinuri ang drainage sa Binalonan Crossing at sa harap ng JGMNHS, pati ang daloy ng tubig sa mga creek sa Brgy. Dumayat, Cili, Pasileng Sur, at mga riverway sa Brgy. Mangcasuy.Nagsagawa rin ng pruning sa ilang lugar kung saan maaaring makahadlang ang mga sanga sa daloy ng tubig o maging sanhi ng pag-ipon ng debris at pagbabara.

Patuloy ang monitoring at koordinasyon upang maagapan ang posibleng pagbaha at mapanatili ang kaligtasan ng ating mga mamamayan.

In leadership of Hon. Mayor Ramon Ronald V. Guico IV, the Local Government Unit of Binalonan, through the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) of MSWDO, successfully conducted the National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week 2026. As part of the celebration, Ms. Joana Mae H. Delos Reyes, LDRRM Officer III, served as the Resource Speaker on Safety and Emergency Preparedness.

Anchored on the theme, "True Preparedness Leaves No One Behind," the session emphasized inclusive disaster preparedness, empowering persons with disabilities through essential emergency preparedness and safety awareness, while promoting a safer, more resilient, and inclusive Binalonan.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO),led by Mayor Ramon Ronald V. Guico IV, under the supervision of Ms. Joana Mae H. Delos Reyes, conducted a creek inspection today as of 11:00 AM, covering the connected waterways from Barangay Linmansangan, Barangay Dumayat, to Barangay Vacante to monitor the water flow of creeks, check for debris obstruction and assess the potential flood risks.

Zumba Dance- Health Fitness!
Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2026, matagumpay na isinagawa ng Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC), sa pangunguna ni Mayor Ramon Ronald V. Guico IV, ang Zumba Dance–Health Fitness sa Municipal Rock Garden. Pinasigla ang programa ng Senior and Junior Dance Fitness, D’ Original Marian’s Dance Group, at Just Smile Squad, na naghatid ng masaya at masiglang Zumba session para sa lahat ng kalahok.
Nakiisa rito ang mga kawani ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Binalonan at iba’t ibang Zumba groups bilang pagpapakita ng suporta sa pagsusulong ng kalusugan, aktibong pamumuhay, at pagkakaisa ng komunidad. Sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing tulad nito, patuloy na isinusulong ang kahalagahan ng pagiging malusog at handa tungo sa pagbuo ng isang ligtas, matatag, at mas resilient na Binalonan.
