Due to inclement weather brought by southwest monsoon and severe tropical storm "Opong" with Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 in effect , work in government offices are suspended today 26 september 2025 to ensure public safety in view of the forecasted heavy rainfall. However, offices incharge with disaster preparedness and response, health services and other vital services shall remain open.

In accordance with Proclamation No. 839, s. 2025, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, has been declared a regular holiday nationwide in observance of Eid'l Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan).

Additionally, pursuant to Proclamation No. 727, the following dates are also declared holidays for the month of April 2025:

✝️ April 17 (Thursday) – Maundy Thursday (Regular Holiday)
✝️ April 18 (Friday) – Good Friday (Regular Holiday)

Please be guided accordingly. Regular operations at the Capitol will resume after the observance of these holidays.
