Scouters and Scout Leaders gathered for the Camp Chiefโs Night, an evening dedicated to appreciation, recognition, and fellowship. The occasion highlighted the importance of Scouting in shaping responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented individuals. Musical and dance performances by the Scouters added vibrancy and excitement to the celebration.
One of the eveningโs highlights was the Candle of Unity Ceremony, featuring the lighting of the Big Unity Candle, followed by the passing of the light from the Camp Director and Camp Heads to the Camp Leaders. Each flame symbolized the values that unite every Scout and Girl Guideโleadership, service, friendship, discipline, and commitment to a common purpose.
Led by Mayor Matt P. Palabrica, PhD, serving as Camp Chief, the ceremony served as a powerful reminder that a single light can inspire many, and when united, these lights shine even brighter, reflecting the true spirit of Scouting.
As the evening drew to a close, the gathering also became an occasion to extend birthday greetings to Mayor Matt P. Palabrica, alongside Scout Leader Mr. Jovan C. Seran, Head Teacher III, making the celebration even more meaningful and memorable.
Through unity, service, and fellowship, the spirit of Scouting continues to inspire young people to lead with purpose and serve their communities with dedication.
