Baybay ES Inducts New Parent and Pupil Leaders, Strengthens Partnership for Learner Success
Reinforcing its commitment to collaborative leadership and shared responsibility in education, Baybay Elementary School successfully conducted its School Induction Program last July 27, 2026 which was conducted after class hours. Anchored on the theme, "Together We Inspire, Together We Achieve: Nurturing Every Learner through Strong Partnerships," the newly elected Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) officers and pupil leaders for School Year 2026โ2027 were officially installed.
The program commenced with solemn preliminary activities, including the singing of a Nationalistic Song, Opening Prayer, Pangasinan Hymn, and Binmaley Hymn, setting a dignified atmosphere that reflected the school's commitment to patriotism, faith, and community identity.
In his Welcome Remarks, Dr. Ernesto Lomibao Estrada Jr., School Principal III, emphasized that effective education extends beyond the classroom and thrives through the collective efforts of school leaders, teachers, parents, learners, local government officials, and community stakeholders. He underscored that nurturing every learner requires strong partnerships built on trust, cooperation, and a shared vision for excellence.
The occasion was further enriched by inspiring messages from Hon. Domingo R. Infante, Punong Barangay of Baybay Lopez, who was ably-represented by Kgd. Jonathan Soriano; and Hon. Remegio De Vera, Punong Barangay of San Isidro Norte, duly-represented by Kgd. Melchor Cuarteros, who both reaffirmed the unwavering support of their respective barangays for school programs and initiatives that promote quality education and learner welfare.
The distinguished inducting guests were formally introduced by Ms. Elena Manlincon , highlighting the significance of leadership founded on service, accountability, and commitment to the school community.
Delivering their Special Messages were Hon. Engr. Pedro A. Merrera III, Municipal Mayor of Binmaley, represented by the former 3-term Municipal Councilor and a former Public Schools District Supervisor of Binmaley, Mdm. Violeta Perion Salazar , who encouraged the newly elected parent leaders to remain active partners in advancing children's education, and Hon. Architect Ariel Dela Co**ha, Municipal Councilor, who challenged the pupil leaders to become responsible, compassionate, and exemplary young citizens capable of inspiring positive change within the school and the community.
The centerpiece of the celebration was the Induction Proper, where the newly elected officers solemnly took their Oath of Office, affirming their dedication to uphold the duties and responsibilities entrusted to them. This was followed by the ceremonial Turn-over of the Symbols of Responsibility, symbolizing the transfer of authority, accountability, and servant leadership to the incoming officers.
During the Formal Turnover, Mr. Genever R. Austira, Outgoing SPTA President, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the school administration, fellow parents, and stakeholders for their trust and cooperation throughout his term. He also encouraged the incoming officers to continue fostering unity and active participation in all school endeavors.
Accepting the symbolic key of leadership, Mr. Leonardo N. Bautista, Jr., Newly Inducted SPTA President, delivered his inaugural speech, expressing gratitude for the confidence bestowed upon him and reaffirming his commitment to strengthening collaboration among parents, teachers, and community partners in support of programs that promote learners' academic achievement and holistic development.
Adding color and enthusiasm to the ceremony, the Newly Inducted HPTA 2-Diamond Officers for School Year 2026โ2027 rendered an intermission performance that showcased the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie among the school's parent leaders.
In his Closing Remarks, Mr. Melvin Rosario, School PTA Adviser, reminded the newly inducted officers that genuine leadership is measured not by authority but by selfless service, active participation, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of every learner.
More than a ceremonial turnover of leadership, the School Induction Program served as a powerful affirmation of Baybay Elementary School's belief that meaningful educational transformation is achieved when schools, families, local government units, and the community work together with one purpose: to provide every child with opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.
