Kaibigan Troopers participated in the 6th Community Run organized by the Pangasinan Run Club, held at the Pangasinan Provincial Capitol earlier today, 31 May 2026.

In support of community wellness initiatives, the activity promoted physical fitness, discipline, and camaraderie among participants. Such engagements contribute to fostering a healthier, more resilient, and united community while encouraging active involvement in programs that advance the general welfare.

“𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝, 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬”

The 71st Infantry (Kaibigan) Battalion successfully conducted the Disaster Response and Rescue Operations (DRRO) Training Class 02-2026 from 25–27 May 2026 in Lingayen, Pangasinan, aimed at strengthening disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities among participating agencies.

The activity was facilitated by subject matter experts from the Pangasinan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) and was attended by personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Local Government Units (LGUs), and the 104th Community Defense Center (CDC). The training emphasized inter-agency coordination, rescue operations, and disaster response procedures to enhance readiness and improve response during emergencies and calamities.

The unit remains committed to continuous training and interoperability with partner agencies, upholding military discipline, professionalism, and service excellence.

In line with the continuing efforts to strengthen inter-agency coordination and security collaboration in Pangasinan, the 71st Infantry (Kaibigan) Battalion, headed by LTC CHRISTOPHER C MANIMTIM INF (GSC) PA, successfully hosted the 4th Joint Peace and Security Coordinating Committee (JPSCC) Meeting on 21 May 2026 at Headquarters, 71st Infantry (Kaibigan) Battalion, Camp Andres Malong, Brgy. San Isidro Norte, Binmaley, Pangasinan.

The activity was attended by representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), 104th Community Defense Center (CDC), and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Pangasinan to further enhance cooperation and operational coordination among security forces.

During the meeting, participating agencies presented updates on intelligence, operational activities, civil-military operations, and training initiatives. Discussions also focused on the prevailing security situation and ongoing peace and order efforts to strengthen coordinated actions in addressing security concerns in the province of Pangasinan.

The successful conduct of the 4th JPSCC Meeting reaffirmed the commitment of the AFP, PNP, PCG, and partner agencies to sustain unified efforts in maintaining peace, public safety, and stability in the province.

Strength and Readiness in Action: 71st Infantry (Kaibigan) Battalion Conquers the 1st Semi-Annual Physical Fitness Test for 2026

The 71st Infantry (Kaibigan) Battalion, under the leadership of Commanding Officer LTC CHRISTOPHER C MANIMTIM INF (GSC) PA, successfully conducted the 1st Semi-Annual Physical Fitness Test for 2026, demonstrating its strong commitment to maintaining peak physical readiness.

The activity highlighted the unit’s discipline, resilience, and operational excellence, ensuring that every soldier remains fit and mission-ready in serving the nation. It was facilitated by the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Center (MWRC) team of the 15th Installation Management Battalion (IMB), Installation Management Command (IMCOM), whose support contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the event.

The battalion remains steadfast in upholding the highest standards of readiness and in serving the Filipino people with honor, courage, and dedication.
